Baluster Vase, One of Three in a Five-Piece

The monk’s residence (MAHS-THA-NWT-YNG-LHN-S-001-F-0001) is a rectangular wooden stilt building facing east toward the temple entrance. Raised on wooden posts over a concrete base, it has storage below and twin stairways flanking the well that lead to folding doors and railed terraces. Timber walls have windows on all sides, most protected by wooden balusters. Inside are several rooms and stepped floor levels marking rank. Murals, carvings, and exterior paintings decorate the structure, while the terracotta-tiled roof combines a rear hip roof with three painted front gables.

Monk’s residence, Wat Thung Kha, Narathiwat

Wat Khok Khian’s ordination hall, or ubosot (MAHS-THA-NWT-MNT-KHK-S-001-F-0001), is a traditional Thai-style religious building in Narathiwat marked by eight boundary stones. The rectangular wooden hall stands on an elevated brick foundation enclosed by ceramic balusters, with staircases on all four sides leading to a verandah. Yellow-painted walls, folding doors, terracotta-tiled gable, wing-shaped, and awning roofs, Thai decorative elements, Buddha images, stucco disciples, murals, and ceiling paintings define the space.

Vergulde koperen tafelklok in de vorm van een toren, op een geprofileerde palissanderhouten sokkel rustend op 4 gewelfde en haaksgeplaatste leeuwenpoten. De vierkanten kast is aan elke hoek voorzien van een pilastervormige stijl met lijstwerk en draagt een omlopende attiek, op de hoeken geaccentueerd met een balustermotief. Laatstgenoemd motief herhaalt zich in het lantaarntorentje dat het geheel bekroont. Onder de wijzerplaat van de voorzijde bevindt zich een kleinere kwartierwijzerplaat, aan de achterzijde bevindt zich een wijzerplaat voor het slagwerk en een sterrenkalender. Het slagwerk bestaat uit 2 bellen, de ene onderaan, de andere in het lantaarntorentje. De kast heeft een gegraveerd decor van geometrische bloemenmotieven. Duitse renaissance
