Part of grey and pink granodiorite stela bearing priestly decree concerning Ptolemy V in three blocks of text: Hieroglyphic (14 lines), Demotic (32 lines) and Greek (54 lines). The inscription is a decree passed by a council of priests, one of a series that affirm the royal cult of the 13 year-old Ptolemy V on the first anniversary of his coronation.

Made with Fusion 360. A toy car with double-acting 1-cylinder compressed air engine (like the steam locomotives have). Has steering, which even works. I call it "vapemobile" because of the remote shape).

In May 2012, five sections of the hull of an armed Elizabethan merchantman were moved to Stoney Cove Dive Centre, some 400 years after it sank in the Thames Estuary. The site consists of a section of bow and 15m of the port side, as well as an anchor.

The ship is now part of a unique underwater museum display where it also serves to train the next generation of nautical archaeologists. 

Originally discovered in 2003 by the Port of London Authority, excavation was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology. The hull remains and associated artefacts, including iron bars, lead and tin ingots, pottery and leather were recovered together with 4 guns, one bearing the insignia 'TG' and the moulded emblem of a grasshopper, the mark of Sir Thomas Gresham (1519 - 1579). He was a financier and adviser to Queen Elizabeth.

Twelve tree-ring samples from the hull suggest that the timbers were felled in England after 1574.

This model shows the innovative triple dome at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. This scale model is created from measured plans of the structure and is accurate to the foot. The dome consists of three interlinked structures:

*     **The Inner Dome** – visible from the cathedral interior and purely for show
*     **The Middle Dome** – a brick cone that is invisible from below but supports the 850 ton lantern above
*     **The Outer Dome** – a wood and lead-roofed structure visible from the cathedral exterior

The Inner and Outer Domes are decorative, while the Middle Dome is the true weight-bearing support system.

Funny Rubber Chicken - Lowpoly

15th century wall tomb in the north wall of the chancel of Strade Dominican Friary (MA070-067001-), Co. Mayo.  Described by archaeologist, John Hunt as; 'a gabled tomb niche, with an elaborate flamboyant traceried canopy. Below this, forming a tomb-front, are two panels boldly carved with decorated ogival niches beneath elaborate foliated crocketing and pinnacle work. In the first three of these are represented the Three Kings of the East, Caspar, Melchior & Balthazar, crowned & bearing their gifts of gold, frankincense & myrrh. In the fourth niche is Christ, King and Judge. In the second panel, the ogee heads are treated as a single canopy, the pinnacles being supported on corbels carved as worshipping angels issuant from clouds with wings displayed. Under this arcading are disposed four figures. The dexter, presumably the donor or commemorated man.   The other three figures, represent an archbishop with cross-staff in the act of blessing, St Peter with two keys & a book, & St Paul with a sword & a book'.

**Pteranodon ignifalcis: A Breakthrough in Pterosaur Pigmentation**

In 2025, paleontologist Dr. Celeste Navarro led a multidisciplinary team in the Flaming Cliffs region of Mongolia, uncovering a remarkably preserved pterosaur specimen. Named *Pteranodon ignifalcis*—“Fire-Sickle Wing”—this Late Cretaceous flyer exhibited elongated cranial crests, clawed feet, and pigment-bearing integument with iridescent orange and teal hues.

Spectroscopic analysis revealed nanostructures consistent with structural coloration, marking the first confirmed evidence of iridescence in pterosaurs. The find suggests that visual signaling may have played a role in mating or territorial behavior, challenging prior assumptions of muted coloration in aerial reptiles. *P. ignifalcis* reshapes our understanding of pterosaur ecology, offering new insight into the evolution of flight, display, and sensory adaptation in prehistoric skies.

3D scan of a statue representing the metal “Gold”. An androgynous figure rises from the gold-bearing quartz crystal at the base of the caryatid. It presents a crown and a necklace with a pendant on a ceremonial cushion. Gold is thus depicted as the ‘King of Metals’ and a symbol of supreme worldly power.

The figure was created by Rudolf Weyr (1847-1914) and is part of the decorative program in Hall IV of the Natural History Museum.

Plate with divergent walls and a flat base, decorated at the center with the image of a stylized deity bearing a shell and a monstrous head, associating the figure with the aquatic underworld. Surrounding the central image are several oval elements related to water, as well as red and black volutes. A decorative band, divided into two sections, encircles the interior wall: one section features black triangles, while the other displays stepped fret motifs and additional abstract elements. The piece was ritually "killed", with a intentional perforation at the center.

Object: The Collins Monument
Location: Ohio River Valley

**Historical Significance:**
This towering 19th-century pedestal, bearing the family name "COLLINS," is a classic example of Victorian-era funerary architecture. Monuments of this scale and expense were almost exclusively designed to serve as a base for a large crowning statue, such as a draped urn, an angel, or a symbolic figure.

**Preservation Status & The Lost Statue:**
This "Digital Twin" documents a severe loss of historical context. While the heavy limestone pedestal has survived, the crowning artwork has been completely sheared off by kinetic impact or decades of freeze-thaw fracturing. Only jagged, unidentifiable stone anchors remain on the top plinth. Without early photographic records, the original identity of the statue is a permanent mystery. This archive preserves the surviving family name and architectural geometry before the remaining stone succumbs to advanced biological weathering.

Collins Monument: Lost Statuary (19th C.)

Pedestal fruit bowl, made of porcelain in 1844 by l’Atelier de Sèvres, featuring a symmetrical composition and an elegant profile characteristic of refined interior decorative objects. The bowl has a wide, slightly concave form with an everted rim and a subtly undulating contour, highlighted by a gilded decorative border.

The interior is defined by a central white field bearing a polychrome heraldic emblem of the Suțu family, surrounded by a cobalt‑blue band framed with stylized gilt motifs. The exterior follows the same decorative scheme, with the family coat of arms repeated on the truncated conical stem, which rests on a circular base adorned with gilded ornamentation.

The decoration combines the chromatic contrast of white–blue–gold with heraldic and stylized vegetal motifs, giving the piece a ceremonial and representative character.

The vessel is displayed at the Filipescu‑Cesianu House Museum, part of the Bucharest Municipality Museum.

This 3D model represents a ball bearing assembly, a fundamental mechanical component widely used in machines to reduce friction between rotating parts. The model includes the inner race, outer race, and rolling balls arranged in a circular pattern to allow smooth rotational motion.

Ball bearings are commonly used in mechanical systems such as motors, gearboxes, automotive components, and industrial machinery. This model demonstrates basic mechanical assembly design and CAD modeling techniques.

This 3D model represents a preserved section of the deck construction of the 17th-century Dutch fluyt (fluitschip) Double Dutch (NCN 34303), documented during the 2025 field campaign. The wreck (31m x 6m), discovered in 2022 in the Dutch Wadden Sea near Kornwerderzand, was subject to systematic archaeological investigation between 2023 and 2025. The surviving deck structure provides valuable evidence for the vessel’s internal arrangement and load-bearing framework, and contributes to the interpretation of the ship as a two-deck armed merchantman. Together with the other recorded structural components, it supports identification of the vessel as a fluyt measuring approximately 120 Amsterdam feet.
