This particular model is the *930* generation built in West Germany between 1975 and 1989, a *Turbo* version with a 3.0 liter air-cooled, turbocharged engine.

Game-ready high quality asset (200k triangles) + ClearCoat (40k triangles)

The model was made in a Mid-poly workflow, which handles shading by averaged geometry normals, instead of normal mapping and is easy to optimize by removing divisions, while maintaining the same mesh topology.
It requires more polygons, however it's resistant to normal map compression (it doesn't need one, or a flat-shaded one is used), also producing smooth reflections if done properly.
A ClearCoat mesh was used to achieve a metallic paint effect on the bodywork - not obligatory.

*Wiwaxia* had a tiny body covered in overlapping defensive **sclerites**. The hidden, lower surface consisted of a muscular foot and mouthparts for scraping food, like algae, off the sea floor. Wiwixia would have crawled slowly over the sea floor in search of food, as many similar molluscs do today.

The noses are still bothering me, and I fear I'll have to include a manual step in my scripted workflow to keep more geometry on the face than on the body.

I did it a long time ago, so I decided to made better and more detailed model of it, which I did.

* The BMW M3 is the high-tech sports version of the compact BMW 3 Series from BMW M GmbH. The M3 models are based on the E30, E36, E46, E90 / E92 / E93, F30 3 series. The pouches may be gill slits opening into an internal body chamber, as found in modern tunicates, such as sea squirts and salps. It is thought that <i>Vetulicola</i> fed by drawing water in through the wide frontal opening to internally filter microscopic food particles suspended in water, with waste water expelled through the side pouches.

*Cotyledion* lived on the sea floor, using **tentacles** to feed on particles suspended in the water. Some individuals have been found attached to small fragment of trilobites. The overall body shape, presence of tentacles surrounding the mouth and U-shaped gut, are characters that unite *Cotyledion* with entoprocts – a modern group of animals that measure less than a centimetre across.
