EN:  A wooden ships bollard with iron pin, for belaying mooring lines. Found as part of a wreck with signs of burning and likely a gunpowder explosion. Dimensions: height 30 cm, largest width 48 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from shipwreck OK45, found on lot K45 near Dronten, province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1672/1673.

NL: Een houten bolder van een schip met ijzeren pin er doorheen, voor bevestiging van trossen om aan te kunnen meren. Gevonden als bewaard fragment van een wrak dat sporen vertoonde van brand en een verm. kruitexplosie. Afmetingen: hoogte 30 cm, gr. breedte 48 cm. Bolder. Lengte: 30 cm, breedte: 48 cm. K45-236. Afkomstig van wrak OK45 dat in 1976 tussen Dronten en Swifterbant is gevonden. In het wrak zijn naast baardmankruiken, sabels, musketten en drie ijzeren kanonnen gevonden wat duidt op een militair schip. Het schip is waarschijnlijk na een explosie en een brand in 1672 of 1673 tijdens de Derde Engelse oorlog gezonken.
Originating from a shipwreck found in Flevoland. The ship most probably foundered after an explosion and fire in 1672 or 1673, during Third English War.
