Bugatti EB110 Super Sport 1992 By Alex.Ka.

The 8.0-litre W16-cylinder engine with 1,850 PS and 1,850 Nm of torque is at its heart. Bugatti has designed the drive specifically for use on the race track, and has optimized it in particular for higher engine speeds. For a start, both intake and exhausts systems were de-throttled to obtain a more spontaneous response, while four newly developed turbochargers build up more boost pressure and power at higher engine speeds. In order to cope with the extremely high centrifugal forces the whole dry sump lubrication system was redesigned, bringing also weight saving benefits. The cooling system is new as well, from the air-to-air intercooling for the engine (instead of water-to-air), to the carbon-titanium turbofan radial compressors to ventilate and cool the high-performance racing brake system.

In 2004, the reborn Bugatti brand transformed the world of automotive performance and luxury with a 1,001 hp hyper sports car: the Veyron. The first road car with more than 1,000 hp was succeeded in 2016 by another engineering feat so ambitious it reset all expectations of performance, the world's first 1,500 hp car: the Chiron. At the heart of these cars was the world's most advanced automotive engine: an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16. Now, 20 years after Bugatti invented the hyper sports car, it redefines the concept completely with an entirely new powertrain and platform.

With the Divo, the French luxury brand has developed a super sports car tuned for agility, nimbleness and optimum handling performance on winding roads. Llega al Auto Show de Ginebra 2016 con 261 mph en carretera y una potencia de 1500 caballos de fuerza. El vehículo se destaca en el evento suizo por llegar con una potencia inédita en materia de vehículos de producción.

El responsable de los 1500 HP es el motor W16 de 8.0 litros desarrollado por la propia Bugatti, con 4 turbocompresores, acoplado a una transmisión de 7 marchas y con 1180 lbs-pie de torque.
