This 3D data of Kokura Castle was made using photogrammetry. This is Avatta's first attempt in using drones to make high quality 3D architectural scan. We have photographed over 1500 images from all directions and the data was processed using Agisoft Photoscan. 

Kokura Castle of Kitakyushu, Japan was built by Hosokawa Tadaoki in 1602. It was the property of the Ogasawara clan (from Harima) between 1632 and 1860. The castle was burnt down in 1866 in the war between the Kokura and Chōshū clans.

Mori Ogai was based at the castle at the turn of the 19th-20th century when it was a military base.
The keep was reconstructed in 1959, and the castle was fully restored in 1990. The Matsumoto Seicho museum and castle garden were opened in 1998. The old Japanese-style pre-Brunton lighthouse from Shirasu is in the castle grounds.

Kokura Castle

The Aleksander class frigate was the largest Russian archipelago navy class ship in 1790 on the Baltic Sea. Five of these ships took part in the Second Battle of Svensksund on July 9th and were lost (taken over, sunk, or burnt), while eight frigates in total were built during the war of 1788–1790 against Sweden. Aleksandr class frigates had a typical ship rig of the period. Aleksandr class is known as an archipelago or rowing frigate. The hull has nine smaller holes between gun deck main gun ports.

When you change it to humanoid make sure the bones are all set to the currect slots, Unity sometimes does not set them correctly

For HQ Textures on Quest after selecting the textures go to the inspector tab and change the "Android Override Format" of the textures to "RGB(A) Compressed ASTC 4x4 Block" on "Fast" Compressor Quality 
if it does not let you upload because of file size limit just lower it blocks to 8x8 and change the size down untill it works

FNAF - Security Breach - Burntrap

According to the Hebrew Bible, Solomon's Temple, also known as the First Temple, was the Holy Temple in ancient Jerusalem before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II after the Siege of Jerusalem of 587 BCE and its subsequent replacement with the Second Temple in 516 BCE. The Hebrew Bible states that the temple was constructed under Solomon, king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah and that during the Kingdom of Judah, the temple was dedicated to Yahweh. During different periods of its operation, Asherah, Baal, the host of heaven and a solarays that "the temple was burnt four hundred and seventy years, six months, and ten days after it was built.

After Venus in furs from the Velvet Underground ([listen on youtube](https://youtu.be/AwzaifhSw2c)), here is a marine wooden version of Venus de Milo, burnt, washed by the sea, then repaired by a skilled craftsman !

The modeling is done with simple boolean operation in blender, using an intermediate object sculpted by hand to carve the holes.

The materials are, as usual, a mix of various PBR textures and simple Cycles nodes setups to mix in the zones of influence of the materials.

There are way too many triangles and textures on that model in my taste... I'll probably upload a replacement with a more optimized version soon as I am quite happy with the results.

WIP - Aquamarine Venus

My final entry for the statues texturing challenge organized by Sketchfab and SMK on the theme of gender representation in classical sculpture.

**My interpretation**

I tried to infuse this model with the theme of the sea, thinking of this statue as an old ship figurehead.

Burnt and torn apart during fierce marine battles, it was then meticulously repaired by the ship's captain, who replaced the damaged parts with inclusions of aquamarine, and finalized his craft with seals of gold. 

I love to imagine the captain as a very masculine yet paradoxical man, a bearded giant letting his deepest emotions, hidden to its pairs, appear through his delicate work.

Textured in blender by cautiously mixing PBR textures, then baked to the unmodified challenge's model. Post-processing and lighting were kept simple to emphasize the texturing work.

And yet **another WIP** for Sketchfab Texturing Challenge, with simpler (so less convincing) but much more optimized materials and textures (2k only, hence a lack of details...) than on the [Aquamarine Venus](https://skfb.ly/6xY6Y).

Considering the challenge "philosophy" (representation of gender in classical sculpture), I am not 100% convinced by the naive burnt/amber/fire war figure vs. washed/aquamarine/water deity opposition, and these models don't really have a "classical sculpture" feel to them...

I guess I'll have to make a choice if I ever want to participate in the contest!

EN: A partially burnt wooden barrel, originally filled with sand. Found in a wreck with signs of burning and likely a gunpowder explosion. Dimensions: length 25 cm, diam. underside 17cm, largest diam. 24 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from shipwreck OK45, found on lot K45 near Dronten, province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1672/1673.

NL: Een deels verbrande ton, oorspronkelijke gevuld met zand. Gevonden in een wrak dat sporen vertoonde van brand en een vermoedelijke kruitexplosie.
