This particular model is the *930* generation built in West Germany between 1975 and 1989, a *Turbo* version with a 3.0 liter air-cooled, turbocharged engine.

The model was made in a Mid-poly workflow, which handles shading by averaged geometry normals, instead of normal mapping and is easy to optimize by removing divisions, while maintaining the same mesh topology.
It requires more polygons, however it's resistant to normal map compression (it doesn't need one, or a flat-shaded one is used), also producing smooth reflections if done properly.
A ClearCoat mesh was used to achieve a metallic paint effect on the bodywork - not obligatory.

Based on a scan of a replica of the "Mayflower" ship, processed by @spogna and available [here](https://skfb.ly/6u8T6).

Like in the [Mosquito in Amber](https://skfb.ly/6xWCO), most of my attention was spent on normal maps, roughness and refraction settings to try to make this model as realistic as possible.

I actually had to create a secondary internal surface for the bottle, and also relied on clear coat options for the glass material in order to try to give the model a feeling of thickness. 

To try to get the opacity right, I used refraction on the outer layer (normals offset checked), and alpha-blending on the inner one.

All of the modeling was done with Blender, but the critical part for the model aesthetics relies on Sketchfab materials and post-processing.

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Detailed

This model clearly exhibits an untextured mesh of a human anotimcal skeleton. This includes the spine, head, arms, legs and all other bones of the human body. Also in the file, is an armature rig that moves all body parts. 

The rig can be accessed by moving into 'pose mode' and roating or moving the desired armature bone. This will result in corrresponding movement with the bone, allowing it o be very useful for animation.

The bone is quite low-poly, posessing a minimum face and vertex count. 
Soon, a textured rendition of this mode will be made abvailable for sale, selling along with an unrigged skeleton head mesh.

 More following will corresponsingly lead to more models, so if this one is enjoyed, and 'liked', there will be more free ones to come.

I wanted to make a small contribution of a 3D model of the solar system that I made once, it is not to scale but I found it interesting to practice.

A few simple sketchfab editor changes for a challenge for fun, the focus was a fantasy feel around dusk, the main changes are;

* Static color background with opacity changes for the sea and sky. This is a simple trick makes a cohesive color composition
* Normal maps added for everything most strikingly the water to break up the flat colors and depth
* Use of refraction opacity, for the sea top has roughness added for depth. The sky has refraction calibrated make use of the assets in the scene to give an almost perlin finish of numerous colors depending on angle
* Clear coats and anisotropy to bounce around colors and add depth
* Orange lighting in the courtyard for a lived in feeling
* Emissions for extra color calibration
* SSAO, Sharpness, Vignette, Tonne mapping and color balance

It is an incredible experience to walk inside this architecture in VR!

Be sure to activate HD textures for best experience.

All elements have been UV unwraped to allow texture and lighting baking.
It is far from perfect. The small gap between uv islands is sometimes too small but I realise it too late after several full baking calculations that takes days !

Here is a test render with only the sun and clear sky.

I have used only basic material without glossiness nor bump maps to limit memory usage.
If someone want to go ahead in texturing work please share it !

I have split the models to seven 8k textures to allow constant pixel density with such large global surfaces.
I suspect that texture sizes are limited to 4K in VR, hence reduced images may only be available. So it might be necessary to repack to 4k but I am not sure that VR will handle 28 x 4k maps.

Hintze-Hall - VR Tour

I modeled this to more or less follow the topology from the CG Cookie tutorials with a couple minor exceptions. There's a little extra geometry at the ankles for detail, and an extra loop at the toenails to hold the shape better.

I removed it from a WIP model of mine that is 1.7m or 5'7" tall so it's to scale.

No textures, but it does have UVs. They're not great as I haven't learned proper UV unwrapping yet, but they should work well enough to paintover if you don't want to unwrap it yourself. Sketchfab doesn't offer a CC0 option, but I've listed as CC0 on Blendswap, and as far as I'm concerned, it's CC-0 here as well.

Update: found an issue with the topology markers, so I fixed it and cleaned up a couple other minor issues. Now if you turn of the wireframe with the model inspector, you can see the subdivided foot's shape more clearly.

Foot Topology - CGCookie style (CC0)

This reconstuction of Gresham Castle is entirely speculative and is based on evidence from the Paston Letters and other documents of the time. No archaeological evidence is available other than the standing remains of the walls.

The documentary evidence shows that the house was a timber framed building and resembled a typical four bay construction of the period with a central hall and chambers either side.

It is unclear whether the walls and towers belong to the fortifications made by Sir Edmund Bacon or are the result of a major rebuild by the Pastons following the siege of 1448.
