Created in Blender and Gimp.

The egg model is a simple elongated UV-sphere, cut in two through a boolean modifier using a subdivided plane, which vertices have been randomized.

The egg white was simulated with fluids physics, before being manually sculpted to correct artifacts and smoothen it. The yolk was added manually later.

All the shell textures are procedural, and were created with Cycles nodes baked to the exported model before actually "cracking" it open.

This model is based satellite imagery taken in March 2020. Which showed it to be active considerably after announcements by Xinjiang officials that all detainees had been released.

This re-education center in Kashgar city, Kashgar was initially constructed as a school. In 2017 as the crackdown began it was converted into a large scale re-education facilitity. 
It has been heavily featured in propaganda efforts after it was sanitised in late 2018/early 2019. 
Recently, it has been completely desecuritised and satellite imagery suggests that it potentially being decomissioned. 
This model shows the facility during 2018.

This is a high security detention centre in Onsu (Wensu) county, Aksu prefecture, in Xinjiang. It was constructed throughout 2018, following the crackdown in 2017, and showed the construction of two new five storey residential buildings in August 2019. This highlights the way in which the camp has shown continued expansion in recent years. 
The detention centre is co-located with a separate detention centre and a maximum security prison.

AL-20 is a single-spool turboprop with forward gearbox. The AL20 drove the passenger turboprop IL-18 of Czechoslovak airlines in CSSR. Presented engine AL-20, cracket on case of gearbox, comes from CSA OK-PAF accidentally landed in Morocco on airport of Casablanca.

My first proper attempt at a character, as well as my first proper crack at sculpting. It's a troll from LOTR, with some slight creative liberties taken; the trolls in the films aren't quite so jacked. Looking to animate it as well, and add another version with armor, but that will have to wait. I have to figure out how in the world i export out the pose space deformations before i can add animations to it.

Also, props to Sketchfab's Sub Surface Scattering addition. It makes such a huge difference for skin realism.

Sculpted in 3D-Coat, retopo in Maya, rigged & posed in Maya, textured & baked in Substance Painter.
