So, The 1953 logo begins as usual, but then a searchlight is taken out, causing the music to wind down to a stop. Police sirens and car engines are then heard. Another searchlight is taken out, and an animated Ferrari colored red appears. It makes itself into the "0" while the cop takes out the last three searchlights. Unexpectedly, the police car crashes into the searchlight on the right. The Ferrari comes out of the "0", honks, and laughs in a Burt Reynolds fashion. Sadly, this logo is usually edited out of television airings. The 1953 logo also looks a little different than its original design (most likely because this variation was designed by Hal Needham, the director of the movie, and not Rocky Longo). This logo was reused for 20th Century Fox Records discs.

# McLaren MP4/5

The McLaren MP4/5, and its derived sister model, the MP4/5B, were highly successful Formula One racing cars designed by the McLaren Formula One team based in Woking, England, and powered by Honda's naturally-aspirated RA109E and RA100E V10 engines respectively. The chassis design was led by Neil Oatley, teaming up with Steve Nichols, Pete Weismann, Tim Wright, Bob Bell and Mike Gascoyne. As with the previous designs, Gordon Murray, as Technical Director, had the role of liaising between the drawing office and production. Osamu Goto was the Honda F1 team chief designer for the car's engine.

The seven row houses on 29th Street were designed by the Baltimore architect  John R. Forsythe. They were constructed in 1911 by James Miller and initially sold for $9,500 a piece, according to *A Brief History of Charles Village*. These Edwardian homes have framed Wyman Park Dell for over 111 years. Johns Hopkins University acquired the seven houses over a 20-year period. In 2020, "the university determined that the size and condition of the structures makes rehabilitation infeasible, and it is necessary to proceed with the demolition,” Jill Rosen, director of media relations, said in an email. Currently, Hopkins offers no plan beyond grassy fields for 29th Street once rowhouses are razed.

On the occasion of its F1 debut in three and a half years, the brand with the rings will be associated with the structure founded by Peter Sauber.

At the end of last August, Audi announced its historic arrival in Formula 1 in 2026. Two months later, the German manufacturer has released a new press release to provide more details on its strategy for entering the discipline. As expected, Audi's commitment will be made in partnership with the Swiss team Sauber, but it was still unclear how the tasks would be divided between the two entities.

"Sauber is a partner of choice for the use of the Audi powertrain," explains Adam Baker, the company's managing director. "We look forward to working with an experienced team that has marked many milestones in the history of Formula 1. Together, we will write the next chapter, scheduled for 2026." More than 120 employees are already working on the development project for the powertrain, consisting of an electric motor, battery, control systems and combustion engine.

The Jaguar XJ13 stands as a singular masterpiece in automotive history— a prototype racing car developed in the 1960s under the direction of Jaguar's Engineering Director, William Heynes, with aerodynamic design by Malcolm Sayer. Conceived to reclaim Jaguar's dominance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the XJ13 was equipped with a mid-mounted 5.0-liter V12 engine, a first for the marque. Despite its innovative design and engineering prowess, the XJ13 never saw competitive racing due to regulatory changes and shifting corporate priorities.

Shuba Duck Rigged

This model shows one of two prison cells of the town of Picón (Ciudad Real, Spain). Its construction dates from the 16th century, and it is one of the few examples that are preserved in the La Mancha region.

This model was created from 17 scans from a FARO Focus X330 laser scanner. These data were aligned and exported in FARO SCENE and the meshing and final processing was in Meshlab.

The data for this project were collected in 2017 as a joint effort between the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and CVAST at the University of South Florida (USF) under the legal permission of Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha (Expte. 16.0834-P1. Sistema de documentación 3D del Patrimonio Cultural de Castilla-La Mancha). The project is now managed by UCLM and Global Digital Heritage (GDH). DeLorean DMC-12 Back To The Future Time Machine

When director Robert Zemeckis and Robert Gale conceived of the first film, the DeLorean was cast, in part, because the car’s gullwing doors made it look like an alien spaceship.  Over the course of the two sequels, the Time Machine eventually emerged as a character of its own, undergoing progressive transformation due to its time travel experiences.  Three visually distinct DeLoreans were created for the trilogy, however, this is the only example to appear in all three films.

The Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E Performance, commonly known as the Mercedes W15, is a Formula One racing car designed and built by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team to compete in the 2024 Formula One World Championship.

This was the first Mercedes car fully designed under British designer and engineer James Allison since his return as technical director in 2023. The W15 was raced by returning drivers George Russell, and seven-time World Drivers' Champion Lewis Hamilton, the latter in his final season with the team. Andrea Kimi Antonelli served as a test driver.

Historical Significance:
Erected to honor Matthew Lawler (former Mayor of Philadelphia) and his wife Ann, this Egyptian Revival sphinx caused massive controversy. The cemetery's Christian directors initially objected to the "pagan" iconography. It was eventually permitted and became one of Spring Grove's most famous monuments.

**Preservation Status (Critical)**
While appearing resolute from a distance, this model documents severe, rapid structural failure. The stone survived its first 150 years well, but recent freeze-thaw cycles have devastated it. Massive mechanical cracks splitting the torso have been patched with modern sealants that are already failing. Furthermore, the extensive historical inscriptions on the base are actively sugaring and nearly impossible to read. This "Digital Twin" preserves the text and geometry before the next fracture.

No sólo realizó una excelente labor divulgativa de las tareas científicas de La Granja, sino que su empeño desembocó, en 1894, en la instalación de la primera fábrica de azúcar en la región (La Azucarera de Aragón), habiendo sido también, gracias a sus trabajos en el Campo Experimental anexo a La Granja y a la insistencia de sus ingenieros, el introductor de la remolacha azucarera y la fabricación de azúcar en Aragón, que fue una realidad en escasos años, llegando a ser la región española más productora.

Hollywood film director James Cameron, who directed the 1997 movie Titanic, has told the BBC the team who built the submersible which imploded with the loss of five lives had "cut corners".

OceanGate, the parent company of the Titan sub, "didn't get certified because they knew they wouldn't pass".

"I was very suspect of the technology that they were using. I wouldn't have gotten in that sub," he said.

Cameron has completed 33 submersible dives to the Titanic wreck.

Titan was built from carbon fibre and titanium.

In 2012 Cameron used a different technology for the Deepsea Challenger submersible expedition in the Pacific, which took him down to 10,912m (35,800ft), the deepest known oceanic trench.

The Titanic wreck is 3,810m (12,500ft) down.

Casting Venom for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 proved to be freakier than the character himself for Bryan Intihar, senior creative director at Insomniac Games. It was "one of the things I was avoiding for as long as possible, because I was so scared of who we were going to get to do the voice," he tells EW. He is also great in VR.
