The typical mask had glass openings for the eyes and a curved beak shaped like a bird's beak with straps that held the beak in front of the doctor's nose. The mask had two small nose holes and was a type of respirator which contained aromatic items. The beak could hold dried flowers (commonly roses and carnations), herbs (commonly lavender and peppermint), camphor, or a vinegar sponge, as well as juniper berry, ambergris, cloves, labdanum, myrrh, and storax. The purpose of the mask was to keep away bad smells, such as the smell of decaying bodies. The smell taken with the most caution was known as miasma, a noxious form of "bad air". This was thought to be the principal cause of the disease.

Ticks latch onto hosts using specialized mouthparts, piercing the skin and feeding for hours or even days.

Found in grassy, wooded, and humid environments, ticks are most active during warmer months. They detect hosts through body heat and carbon dioxide, then climb aboard to feed. After engorging, they drop off to continue their life cycle.

Preventing tick bites involves wearing protective clothing, using repellents, and checking for ticks after outdoor activities. Despite their reputation, ticks play a role in ecosystems, but their potential to spread disease makes awareness and prevention essential.

Im not making it less common but the Common Carp is a freshwater fish that can easily be kept in any aquarium, though it will become 75cm at least which would then require it to be the size of your living room, unless youre living in a deserted castle like me ofcourse, anyway, its a great gamefish too, my record is 92cm in length and 35 pounds in weight. Compared to variants with less scales, i.e. mirror carp, this one is much more resistant to diseases and parasites, but its looks are quite ehm common.

Accumulation of ACh leads to sustained contraction, paralysis, and potentially death from respiratory failure, which is why it is such a target for nerve agents. 

Aricept/E2020 is a medication for mild to severe Alzhiemer's disease. It works by being a highly selective and reversible inhibitor, limiting the function of AChE and therefore the breakdown of ACh. Aricept can improve symptoms such as memory loss and confusion in certain people, assisting those with Alzheimer's in their day-to-day life.

However, E2020, an Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) medication, works by slowing down AChE catalysis via non-covalent competitive inhibition. The lack of cholinergic activity is hypothesised to accelerate neurodegeneration by increasing tau tangle and amyloid plaques accumulation. By inhibiting the ACh breakdown, E2020 prolongs ACh activity in the synapses, enhancing target cell stimulation. This is an old television I made for a game project at school. The environment is a house of a grand father that is suffering from alzheimer. The player slowly experience the effects of the disease as the game go on. This game was made to bring awareness to alzheimer.
