This reconstuction of Gresham Castle is entirely speculative and is based on evidence from the Paston Letters and other documents of the time. No archaeological evidence is available other than the standing remains of the walls.

The documentary evidence shows that the house was a timber framed building and resembled a typical four bay construction of the period with a central hall and chambers either side.

It is unclear whether the walls and towers belong to the fortifications made by Sir Edmund Bacon or are the result of a major rebuild by the Pastons following the siege of 1448.

“VĒVERI” RURAL EXHIBITION OF THE ETHNOGRAPHIC OPEN AIR MUSEUM OF LATVIA IN VECPIEBALGA

The history of “Vēveri” in Vecpiebalga dates as far back as 400 years. It is mentioned for the first time in Swedish accountant documents in 1601 as one household and at the end of the 17th century it was marked on the map.

A large room in the (upper part of) Wakefield Tower at the Tower of London. Built in the early 13th Century by King Henry III.

Sign in alcove reads: "KING HENRY III's PALACE. This is the Wakefield Tower, one of the oldest parts of the medieval palace. King Henry III, Edward I's father ordered this tower to be built in 1220. It was part of a grand new riverside palace for when the King and Queen stayed at the Tower. This important room was separated from the small private chapel by a wooden screen. The painted decoration, textiles, screen and throne are all modern replicas, copied from real objects, manuscript, illuminations and descriptions in documents from the 1200s. The stone vaulted ceiling was added in the 1800s.

Wakefield Tower Room

The presented object is a trzos belt – a wide leather belt with a pocket for storing money and documents. It was made in the 2nd half of the 20th century by a Romani saddler near the Romanian city of Brasov (Braşov in Romanian).
The belt was made of a double-folded strip of leather; at the upper edge there is an additional narrow pleat. It is fastened with 4 metal buckles, through which short straps with punched leather eyelets are threaded (5 in each strap). The end of each strap can be additionally fixed by threading it through a belt loop in a vertical leather belt (7 cm wide) attached to the trzos belt with 3 pairs of brass rivets.

Mustang Funny Drag Car

Historical Significance:
Erected to honor Matthew Lawler (former Mayor of Philadelphia) and his wife Ann, this Egyptian Revival sphinx caused massive controversy. The cemetery's Christian directors initially objected to the "pagan" iconography. It was eventually permitted and became one of Spring Grove's most famous monuments.

**Preservation Status (Critical)**
While appearing resolute from a distance, this model documents severe, rapid structural failure. The stone survived its first 150 years well, but recent freeze-thaw cycles have devastated it. Massive mechanical cracks splitting the torso have been patched with modern sealants that are already failing. Furthermore, the extensive historical inscriptions on the base are actively sugaring and nearly impossible to read. This "Digital Twin" preserves the text and geometry before the next fracture.

Lawler Sphinx: Decay of Egyptian Revival (1850)

**Historical Significance:**
This towering 19th-century pedestal, bearing the family name "COLLINS," is a classic example of Victorian-era funerary architecture. Monuments of this scale and expense were almost exclusively designed to serve as a base for a large crowning statue, such as a draped urn, an angel, or a symbolic figure.

**Preservation Status & The Lost Statue:**
This "Digital Twin" documents a severe loss of historical context. While the heavy limestone pedestal has survived, the crowning artwork has been completely sheared off by kinetic impact or decades of freeze-thaw fracturing. Only jagged, unidentifiable stone anchors remain on the top plinth. Without early photographic records, the original identity of the statue is a permanent mystery. This archive preserves the surviving family name and architectural geometry before the remaining stone succumbs to advanced biological weathering.

Desktop Filing System With Documents

This 3D model documents the preserved stem assembly of the 17th-century Dutch fluyt (fluitschip) Double Dutch (NCN 34303), discovered in 2022 in the intertidal zone of the Wadden Sea near Kornwerderzand by Stichting Archeos Fryslân. The wreck (31m x 6m) was investigated through a series of diving expeditions between 2023 and 2025. Based on constructional characteristics, associated artefacts, and dendrochronological analysis of sampled timbers, the vessel has been dated to around 1680. The stem assembly constitutes an important diagnostic component for the reconstruction of the bow structure and supports the interpretation of the wreck as a Dutch fluyt of approximately 120 Amsterdam feet in length.

Double Dutch Fluyt: stem assembly

Anthropomorphic sculpture representing the torso of a male figure with arms crossed over the chest. He wears an elaborate headdress and a necklace with a pendant in the form of a human head. Portions of the belt and loincloth are visible. Parts of the lower limbs are fragmented. Sculptures of this type are reported in Colonial ecclesiastical documents as objects of idolatry.

An engineering-grade 3D "Digital Twin" of the Chickamauga bronze bas-relief, situated on the Carrara marble monument of General William Haines Lytle in Spring Grove Cemetery (Cincinnati, OH).

This high-fidelity capture documents the severe chemical weathering and oxidation of the 19th-century bronze artifact. It was processed specifically for the American Digital Heritage Project to provide local educators with interactive, browser-based STEM models for studying chemical reactions, hydrological erosion, and material degradation.

Chickamauga Bronze Relief | Lytle Monument

The [Migration Museum ](https://www.migrationmuseum.org/) is currently based in Lambeth, where it is possible to visit their incredible immersive exhibition _Room to Breathe_.
This scene is a re-interpretation of the exhibition's reception space, lit and styled to emphasise the unsettling sensation of arriving in a new and strange place and being faced with a wall of bureaucracy and red tape. King's College London is engaged with the museum in a project  to preserve elements of this important installation, and to transmit the stories and experiences it documents to wider audience.

Condition Report: This 3D preservation scan documents the structural state of the primary elevation. Significant biological weathering (moss/ivy) is visible on the upper right cornice. The scan captures the high-relief sculpture above the arch (draped urn flanked by cherubs) and the iron entrance doors, preserving the current patina and erosion patterns for historical analysis.

Burnet Mausoleum Facade (19th Century)

From the wiki: "Conceptualized for Van Buren by Chris Applehans and modeled by Glenn Price, the Lil' Pip is not mentioned in design documents, suggesting it came about later in development. Joshua Sawyer later included it in his tabletop RPG, describing it as a much less cumbersome device worn on the forearm, but offering all the functionality of its bigger variant. The device used integrated circuits, rather than vacuum tubes, a flip-up split-screen monitor with three display colors to choose from (green, blue, and red), and could accept up to six data tubes as expansion hardware to expand its functionality. However, it was not a sales success, due to the fragility of the device, as compared to the rugged 2000 series. It could read holodisks like any other device, using a loading tray."

This 3D photogrammetric model documents a concrete structural remnant identified during a walkover survey of the former Nováky labour camp site in Slovakia. The feature represents a surviving fragment of the camp’s physical infrastructure and contributes to the documentation of material traces preserved within the contemporary landscape.

Model 3- Concrete Structural Remnant

The cemetery cross in Breitenfurt near Vienna, also known as the “Giuliani Cross,” is a Baroque stone crucifix located in the cemetery of the former poorhouse at Stelzerbergstraße 15. The cross depicts Christ crucified in an expressive, dynamic pose typical of Baroque sculpture. The body is carefully modeled anatomically, the head with a crown of thorns tilted slightly to one side, and the loincloth falls in lively, softly worked folds. The sculptural design and emotional representation give the figure a powerful spiritual effect and make the work a high-quality example of Baroque religious art.

The crucifix was first mentioned in documents in 1736 and, based on its stylistic features, is attributed to the Venetian Baroque sculptor Giovanni Giuliani. Giuliani worked in Vienna and Lower Austria from the late 17th century onwards and had a significant influence on regional sculpture; he had particularly close ties to Heiligenkreuz Abbey, where he lived as a lay brother from 1711 and created numerous works.
