Millstream Road Viaduct

This is all that remains today of the old Baltimore Traction Company cable car powerhouse on Druid Hill Ave. It was built to help transport passengers from "...Druid Hill Park to Patterson Park in 1891 using underground steel cables (similar to the system still operating in San Francisco today). The cables were powered by steam engines in nearby warehouses."

**As the wind of progression blew over the Viking settlement of Novgorod, Christianty quickly filled the minds and hearts of the town folk. Pagan traditions were banished and pactitioners such as druids and seeresses faced endless ridicule, exile and often worse. As was the fate of the misfurtonate seeress Ganna, when she was roughly evicted out of the city, robbed of possessions, family, and dignity. Ganna swore of mankind and settled on top of a tall hill, far from - but always overlooking mankind that wronged her so. Desperation and loneliness quickly drove her cursed soul mad and she sought friendship and connection to the crows that never left her side. Still practicing dark magic she potters around the hill of Ganna daily, feeding the birds, catching fish and writing down everything she knows in scrolls and books in hopes that one day, someone will read them, will connect again, will accept again. But until that day, her birds will have to suffice.**

Home of an Exiled Seeress

One of my favorite places in Baltimore! It was designed by George A. Frederick (1842–1924) and is located in Druid Hill Park. 

"Established in 1888 as the Druid Hill Conservatory, the Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory has grown from the original Palm House and Orchid Room to include three greenhouses, two display pavilions and outdoor gardens...The Conservatory is the second-oldest steel framed-and-glass building still in use in the United States."

Druid Staff

The recent discovery of ancient rock art in parts of the Peak District has brought about a new project to study these finds. As a volunteer with the Peak Park Cultural Heritage Team, I have been asked to carry out drone surveys of the sites. This is my first one, using my smallest drone - a DJI Mini 2 - which enabled me to get into the tight spaces surrounding this rock. **game: Asterix & Obelix XXL**

Getafix (or, in some translations, Magigamix, French: Panoramix) is the tritagonist of the Asterix franchise. He is the village druid.

**biography**

Although known for his strength-enhancing magic potion, he has many other magical and medicinal potions at his disposal, and acts as the village doctor and occasionally teacher. Asterix (and most other villagers) will consult him whenever anything strange occurs. He does not himself normally engage in combat, whereas most of the villagers enjoy a good punch-up (even with each other). On one occasion in one of the stories explaining Gaulish women, with using Mrs. Geriatrix as an example, with a fight sparked by Impedimenta. The final cut is shown with all the male villagers and two females, Impedimenta and Bacteria included, with Getafix running to stop the punch up, with a piece of fish flying towards him.
