This model was made for a college assignement in which a product had to be developed that could benefit people. I chose to create this arm as I belived it to be a feasable piece of technology that could realistically be developed in the near future. Initial ideas such as teleporters and hoover boots were considered to be too unrealsitic. Inspiration for this model came from YouTube and Instagram accounts featuring similar 3D work along with informative videos on the use and function of exisitng prosthetic arms. I wanted to create an arm that maintained the familair human form of an arm with full motions such as an adjustable elbow and five finger movements.

Set to accurate scale.

The Uvs are wacky as hell, didn't know any better back then, as a result the resolution in certain areas suffer a lot. The mesh could've been much lower in the hands and hair, also there are no elbows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Appearance

I made this scan of a pig all laid out to roast.  When it was done I was up to my elbows in roast pork and couldn't touch my camera.  Besides we were all too hungry to screw around taking pictures.  Too bad, an after scan would have been cool.
