Statue of Ramesses III 

Beth Shean, 1185-1153 BCE, Basalt 

"This life-size statue depicts the seated figure of Ramesses III, who ruled Egypt for 32 years and who is often considered the last great pharoh of ancient Egypt. It was probably dedicated to a cannanite temple in Beth Shean, but was found broken and mutilated in a secondary context. The statue may have been installed as a form of Egyptian propaganda- an attempt to exercise power when Egypt's actual hold over canaan was in decline. "

Statue of Ramesses III

Given the recent scientific news and the fact that I'm on the "experimenting with volumetrics" path, I figured out that trying to reproduce space objects with simple force-driven particle simulation could be a fun exercise. Here are some first tests !

This object was made by moving 1000 particles around (rigid body rotation initial speed, one central repulsive force and two attractive ones), and "registering" their paths in an alpha voxels grid (225x225x225), which I finally mapped to textured planes for the volumetric effect.

A final central sphere was used with refraction parameters to create the center "black hole".

Might be resource intensive, sorry for that !

Fun 3D exercise for myself

This level design I made during my 4 years at Titus Interactive Studio was quiet a mess to re-open years later. I went through a Collada export to fix most issues, but some Material IDs and of course all Smoothing groups were lost along the way. I hope you'll excuse those errors (I fixed many) and will still find this mesh useful eventually. Very low poly modeling doesn't mean much anymore nowadays. But knowing how to optimize virtual worlds, however complex they'll become, will always be a good exercise.

Highway Road

Exercise for CG Cookie's "Modeling with Modifiers" course. Assignment was to create a wheel with spokes/tire/rim, using modifiers where possible.

The spokes, spoke caps, rim, and tire made heavy use of the Mirror, Array, and Subsurf modifiers.

Punching the holes in the axle for the spokes was done with a Boolean modifier, which...I will probably never do again. Getting the topology to be clean enough for subsurf to work correctly after the Boolean modifier was applied required me to practically rebuild the whole thing from scratch. Maybe I just don't know how to use Booleans correctly. Maybe I need better techniques for retopo work. Likely both. :)

Overall, a fun and challenging modeling exercise!

Low-Poly Cars

An exercise in learning to texture! I took the lowish-poly deer I made a few weeks ago, sculpted it a little and followed some texturing tutorials to learn how to paint it and bake normal maps and things. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. 

(Probably not suited for animation though, the retopo was a little rough and lazy tbh.)

Gislebertus' Temptation of Eve (French: La Tentation d'Ève) was originally the lintel of the north door of the cathedral. It is stated that the Temptation of Eve was created around the 1130s at the same time in which the portail of the [Last Judgment](https://skfb.ly/oyTLY) and the narrative capitals were made. This large sculpture is now displayed in the Musée Rolin, Autun, France, restored in recent years.

Temptation of Eve - Autun Cathedral

Game ready character sculpted in Zbrush, retopologized, rigged, and animated in Maya, and textured using Substance Painter.

This was an exercise bringing me through the entire character creation process from concept, high poly, low poly, texturing, rigging, animation, and importing into UE4 (and also sketchfab)

This asset was modelling in 3dsmax and sculpted in zbrush, textured in Substance Painter & rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2. Additional clean up on the model (flame effects) were done in photoshop.

This project was a small exercise to play around with stylistic art with a more realistic surface quality.

A modeling exercise. I decided to do a cucco from "Ocarina of Time" because they're adorable. I tried out making the wings with individual feathers, but I think I got a little carried away with the tail feathers.

(I think I applied all of the modifiers on this version though, so the mesh might be a bit of a mess if you download.)

Warhammer 40,000 Inspired Shotgun – Mid Poly

Mid-poly shotgun inspired by the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This project was not focused on heavy optimization, but rather served as a texturing study and material exploration exercise.

The goal was to capture the brutal, industrial aesthetic typical of the 40K setting — massive forms, worn metal, battle damage, and layered surface detail. Special attention was given to roughness variation, edge wear, and surface storytelling to enhance realism and visual impact.

Modeled and textured as a practice piece to refine workflow and improve material definition.

3D asset | Warhammer shotgun | Mid poly

A 3D character study of Guita Hebby, heavily inspired by the raw, "trash-punk" aesthetic of Key Urana’s manga "Gachiakuta".

This project was an exercise in translating aggressive, high-contrast 2D manga art into a functional 3D game-ready model. I focused on maintaining the iconic silhouette of the oversized monster hoodie and the graphic nature of the "Sun" emblem.

Key Features:

Art Style: Urban Fantasy / Trash-punk.

Modeling: Focused on sharp silhouettes and clean edge flow for fluid animations.

Shading: Designed for a cel-shaded/toon look with bold outlines to mimic ink-drawn art.

Optimization: Low-poly geometry suitable for real-time engines.

Texturing: Hand-painted style with a focus on flat-shaded colors.

Topology: Optimized for deforming the large claw-sleeves.

Siberian Huskies are intelligent, high-energy, and affectionate medium-sized working dogs known for their thick, grooming-intensive double coats, striking eyes, and vocal nature. Originally from Siberia, they need extensive daily exercise (1-2 hours) to avoid destruction. They are generally friendly, but need consistent training due to their independent, often stubborn, nature.
