Fantastic castle

A mega-sized (may not be in correct scale) fantastic gothic style cathedral made entirely with Unreal Engine's BSP brushes converted to modular static meshes. It is merely a sketch/experiment and not very polished in some faces. I also reused some pieces with different scales so those parts may look deformed. The stone brick textures came from the 'Medieval Dungeon' free asset pack in the Epic Games Store.

Full name: **Seventeenth-century Italian hydria apothecary vase**

A hydria-type apothecary maiolica vase created in Savona (Italy) in the late 17th century. Handles in the shape of (fantastic) animal heads on massive bent necks. At the front, towards the bottom of the vase, a gargoyle in relief. Plugged with regular cork, its mouth doubles as an opening for pouring out the contents of the vase. Smaller gargoyles, without any openings, located under the handles, alongside the vase.

Exhibit from the collection of apothecary ceramics donated to the Museum in 1976 by Mateusz Bronisław Grabowski, a Polish-British, London-based pharmacist.

My tribute to a wonderful novel series by Terry Pratchett, placed on a fictional "Discworld". I had the most fun through the creation process.

My goal was to also create cities and landmarks on the world, but while adding more content I found it rather messy and distracting, so I had to cut a bit. This is a total reconstruction. I've used this map as a refference:

This is another of Blender guru’s fantastic tutorials. I wanted to give this one a shake since I’ve been making a good deal of space ships recently and thought that It would give me some inspiration. I took something different from this which was a better appreciation of composition. It makes an enormous difference.

Consider this process a work in practice, I will clean all the meshes and textures over time and update.  The background wall and tower needs finishing with high res texture and normals maps to improve the realism, I appreciate the lighting needs work along with background to improve the presentation of these fantastic pieces, there really is alot for me to do on this one.

It was a long journey of creating some watercolor style custom brushes for blender. I feel like I am almost at the end of the journey! This is the first completed scene with those brushes. Hopefully the pack will be ready for public release soon.

This is one of my favorite renditions by a great piece of work. I took an amazing artists' 2D work and 3D-ified it! I really wanted a challenge this time, so I spent a good chunk of time trying to get everything right, without directly copying everything piece-by-piece (for instance, the leaves are flowing around instead of being inside the tea bag, etc.) - I really wanted to portray the beauty of this piece in a coherent way and I think I did it justice and hope the artist, if they ever find their way here, thinks the same!! I love their style so much and you should DEFINITELY check them out here:

In principle, its operation feels almost a bit fantastical. The main rotor spins clockwise during takeoff, and to land, it needs to spin counterclockwise. The nose rotor pushes the aircraft forward, much like the propeller on a traditional airplane.
