The helmet was fashioned in southern Germany circa [1540](https://bit.ly/2kdFNLr), and is unusual because it is one of the few surviving helmets adorned with a crown.

It was purchased in [Augsburg](https://bit.ly/2MwwuQc) on the King's behalf by his agent, the merchant Claus Heijder. The helmet was likely used in [Gustav Vasa's](https://bit.ly/2k10R7K) funeral procession in 1560, because a helmet adorned with a gilded crown is mentioned by a contemporary who witnessed the ceremony. The gilded crown is medieval in style – a suitable symbol of Gustav Vasa, who had one foot in the old union and one in the newly minted [hereditary monarchy](https://bit.ly/2kdG7tD).

The sheepskin coat was purchased for the collection of the Tatra Museum from Andrzej Kubin of Ratułów in 1929. The owner of the apparel was a sixty-year-old inhabitant of the village of Ciche, who had worn it on her wedding day. The sheepskin coat, tailored in a fashion typical for women, reaches to the knees and is slightly narrowed at the waist and widened at the bottom. It was fashioned from five pieces of leather: two front pieces, back piece and two sleeves. It is fastened with three wooden buttons covered with white leather, which are slid through loops. The stand-up collar is decorated with red leather binding.

Simple Wooden Bed

A complex ritual object manufactured from glazed faience, comprised of four miniature model vessels structurally integrated into a single square block. The individual vessels are fashioned in the distinct shape of traditional Egyptian dome-topped granaries, each tapering toward a central circular perforation at the apex. One of the four models sustained an old fracture and has been structurally reattached and repaired. The entire faience assembly is currently mounted upon a modern, square black wooden display base for stabilisation. The material displays a heavily weathered, dark greyish-brown patina with substantial traces of salt efflorescence and original core matrix showing at the join lines. This vessel set is an excellent example of a specialised class of ritual equipment dating to the Twenty-sixth Dynasty (c. 664–525 BC)

Beehive 01

A funerary ornament fashioned from wood, representing a winged scarab beetle. The entire surface is heavily darkened and patinated, featuring a central beetle painted a deep, obscured green or black, with outstretched wings detailed in dark red and black pigments to simulate ancient paint. The reverse of the ornament is flat, exposing the wood grain covered with a thin, irregular light wash. The wings terminate in swept, pointed tips, exhibiting a fluid, crescent curve. 

This object is possibly as a modern forgery, likely manufactured during the early twentieth century. During this period, the booming global market for Egyptian antiquities drove a highly sophisticated industry of replicas and counterfeits, often produced by skilled local workshops in Egypt to satisfy travelers and early collectors. An authentic ancient counterpart from the Roman Period (e.g., EC292) would have been attached to a rectangular wooden coffin to invoke the daily rebirth of the solar god Khepri.

Working with a mix of ash stone sand resin and fiberglass these artisans carve a lively relief of botanical shapes reflecting the region s lush plant life. Old Lamp

This is another collection of assets for a personal project of mine that's no longer in production. Assets were inspired by living quarters in various remote research facilities, where workers were stationed for prolonged period of time. Somewhat mismatched, old fashioned, quite worn down, but still practical and usable. 

Everything was done for real-time rendering with a third person perspective, but you can probably use a first person camera, as long as you don’t get too close.

Fashioned from wood or laminate in an off white and charcoal grey palette with warm tan accents the collection integrates LED lighting. Both the spacious desk and versatile storage units are designed for a sleek highly functional and modern executive workspace.

A small, square plaque made from blue-green glazed faience, designed to resemble a votive or funerary pectoral pendant. A small circular suspension hole is drilled cleanly through the top edge, suggesting it was intended to be suspended or worn. Inset into the centre of the front face is a dark, separately fashioned scarab beetle figurine. The scarab is flanked on either side by two crudely painted figures in black pigment, possibly intended to represent deities. The reverse side features an array of black-painted iconography, including a central royal cartouche flanked to the left by two standing figures and surrounded by highly abstracted pseudo-hieroglyphic signs. The plaque exhibits substantial surface weathering and artificial staining around its borders to mimic an archaeological patina. This object is a confirmed modern forgery, manufactured to satisfy the thriving tourist and antiquities market of the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.

A vintage Soviet era sugar tin with a red polka dot pattern and the Russian word sugar on the label. The tin has signs of wear with slight dents and scratches adding to its retro charm. Ideal for scenes requiring an old fashioned kitchen item.

Alarm Clock

I snapped a bunch of photos of the giant rotating globe fashioned for NASA now displayed at EROS Data Center to make this map. The globe was commissioned by NASA to help familiarize early astronauts with what they would see from orbit. The globe is rotating slowly but it was still tricky trying to capture enough of the surface for Europe to be sure I'd be able to generate a relief map. I ended up using 20 of my best photos.
