Forklift

This is my first attempt at creating a vehicle, and one of the first few models that I've created in Maya, especially of this complexity. 

It's been created for my current university project, so keep an eye out for assets related to it.

Forklift Truck

The presented telephone set in a wooden housing was designed to be mounted on the wall. It was equipped with an ebonite microphone attached to the front of the housing and a trumpet-shaped earpiece rigidly attached to the forks on the left side of the housing. On the side, the device has two clamps for the wires carrying the telephone signal.

Here's a npr-model I did mainly for a telegram stickerpack, but also to practice rigging. It's a stilized otter using a version of the good old inverted hull shading to get outlines.

The rig has IK/FK switching, variable IK chain lengths, stretch-IK-switching, FK saling, powerful yet simple spine controls and an eye setup, that I kind of need to improove in the future ... if you want to have a crack at the model yourself, consider [forking it the model on gitlab](https://gitlab.com/betalars/otterly-adorable).

The materials are mainly built for quick prototyping in blender, it all kind of also works in realtime, but I'd put in a bit more optimisation before adding it to a game.

Joël Bontoux was born on March 18, 1969. A Yamaha rider since 1987, he has proven to be an exceptional athlete on land and sea. In his 17-year career with the tuning fork brand, he has amassed no fewer than 7 Jet Ski World Championship titles, 5 victories at the 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux, and has managed to become a 9-time French Quad Champion, when combining motocross and Supermoto disciplines. Joël Bontoux racing in Morocco in 2011, on this occasion he tested a quad bike developed by Salomon, customized in the colors of his favorite shoes. It's a real "fake news," but hey, a little humor can't hurt!

High-detail 3D scan of an aluminum mountain bike front fork, created for accurate geometry reference and reverse engineering workflows.

The side surfaces have been automatically closed, and openings are present around the center section. These areas were intentionally left unmodeled, as they were not required for the reverse engineering of the specific fork component this scan was created for.

This approach ensures an efficient and clean dataset while preserving all critical geometric features needed for analysis, inspection, and downstream engineering use.

FOX 40 lowpoly bike fork

This artifact was found during studies of the attic of Salubria Manor, which was damaged in 2011 because of an earthquake. It was with a NextEngine Desktop 3-D scanner.

Salubria Manor is owned and operated by the Germanna Foundation, which writes “Historic Salubria is an 18th-century (ca. 1757) Georgian-style manor house built for the Reverend John Thompson, rector of the Little Fork Church from 1740 to 1772, who married the widow of Lt. Gov. Alexander Spotswood. The house received the name Salubria, Latin for healthful, from a later owner, James Hansbrough, in the early 1800s and has been known by that name since that time (https://germanna.org/salubria/).”
