The Billiards Room, like [The Dining Room](https://skfb.ly/6uLDI), is done in  a style between [Renaissance](https://goo.gl/9XS59E) and early [Baroque](https://goo.gl/BVsvH2). Note that the windows in both rooms are made up from round antique [lights that have been framed in lead](https://goo.gl/G86YdL).

The Billiards Room

The Flatiron Building, originally the Fuller Building is a triangular 22-story 285-foot-tall (86.9 m) steel-framed landmarked building located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the eponymous Flatiron District neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Daniel Burnham and Frederick Dinkelberg, it was one of the tallest buildings in the city upon its 1902 completion, at 20 floors high and one of only two "skyscrapers" north of 14th Street – the other being the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower, one block east.

Flatiron Building

"The Southern District Police Station is a historic police station located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a monumental Romanesque Revival steel-framed building faced in stone and brick constructed in 1896. The station is composed of a three-story cubic main block, a two-story rear ell, and two additions built in the 1950s that fill most of the remainder of the corner lot. The building remained in use by the Baltimore Police Department until the mid-1980s, when it was sold to a local non-profit group."

After The God Particle...

Going on with some tests for the animation of an underwater scene, this time playing with particle system and forces in blender (with which I am not very familiar). 

The particle system I used to create this shoal of fish is set with a simple fish model (same as [Abstract aquarium](https://skfb.ly/6ypzL)) as render object. 

The fish particle system was set to a "**Boids**" physics, and tweaking parameters gave the unique fish a smooth movement. A **vortex force field** was then added to the scene to create the swirling motion on the particles. I also added a collision domain (as a cube) to make sure that no fish went outside of a specified volume, but it proved unnecessary...

I still have to figure out how to properly export keyframed animations to a fbx file, as the only file I managed to obtain was a 120MB one (for a < 100 tris fish model). A python script which has helped me is [here](https://blender.stackexchange.com/a/7142), but it does not pass the export phase very well...

TCF (Blue Sky Demo Reel Variant) (2008)

This model displays a rigged horse (Horse Rig) in a static position. The rig is diverse, and allows intricate control for each of the horse's attributes, this includes the spine, head, arms, legs, tail, as well as intermediate joints of those areas, and other bones. Found in the file, is an 'armature', this is the object responsible for all of the horse's movements, allowing the model to qualify for usage in animation.

The rig can be accessed by moving into ‘pose mode’ and roating or moving the desired armature bone. This will result in corrresponding movement with the bone, allowing it to be very useful for animation, as it can be keyframed, and animated.

The mesh is quite low poly, possessing 5,000 faces, though, with the subdivision surface modifier, the face count is increased. 
More following will corresponsingly lead to more models, so if this one is enjoyed, and liked, there will be more free ones to come.

Horse Rig

The seven row houses on 29th Street were designed by the Baltimore architect  John R. Forsythe. They were constructed in 1911 by James Miller and initially sold for $9,500 a piece, according to *A Brief History of Charles Village*. These Edwardian homes have framed Wyman Park Dell for over 111 years. Johns Hopkins University acquired the seven houses over a 20-year period. In 2020, "the university determined that the size and condition of the structures makes rehabilitation infeasible, and it is necessary to proceed with the demolition,” Jill Rosen, director of media relations, said in an email. Currently, Hopkins offers no plan beyond grassy fields for 29th Street once rowhouses are razed.

Rowhouses on 29th St. Baltimore

This reconstuction of Gresham Castle is entirely speculative and is based on evidence from the Paston Letters and other documents of the time. No archaeological evidence is available other than the standing remains of the walls.

The documentary evidence shows that the house was a timber framed building and resembled a typical four bay construction of the period with a central hall and chambers either side.

It is unclear whether the walls and towers belong to the fortifications made by Sir Edmund Bacon or are the result of a major rebuild by the Pastons following the siege of 1448.

It's a simply-made train cabin interior. free to use.
Although it doesnt have many polys, it was not made with low poly techniques, you could optimize it if you need.
It's designed to be seen only by the front. It's not hulled, but it's not modeled neither. 

All interior parts are detachable, you could rearrange it as needed.

Courtains are cloth sim, keyframed.

Modeled in blender, textured in Substance Painter.

Simple train cabin

The horn of Salt Diggers Brotherhood of Wieliczka is a unique Renaissance work of art commemorating the past wealth of Kraków salt mines. It is the only historical object of its kind preserved in Poland – a genuine horn of the aurochs, an ancestor of present-day cattle (the species became extinct in Poland in the 17th century). Framed in silver, it features a number of precisely executed metalwork techniques. Weighing almost 3 kilos, it was created in Kraków in 1534. The figure shown in the horn’s base is a salt miner, depicted as Hercules wearing antique armour. This representation symbolically emphasises the hard work of the Wieliczka salt diggers, excavating the precious mineral for hundreds of years.

Horn of Salt Diggers Brotherhood of Wieliczka

This head of the Buddha, once framed by a halo and joined to a complete figure, would have been worshipped in a monastic shrine. The facial features and wavy hair show the Greek and Roman influences that arose through trade contacts with ancient Gandhara, an area now divided between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

One of my favorite places in Baltimore! It was designed by George A. Frederick (1842–1924) and is located in Druid Hill Park. 

"Established in 1888 as the Druid Hill Conservatory, the Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory has grown from the original Palm House and Orchid Room to include three greenhouses, two display pavilions and outdoor gardens...The Conservatory is the second-oldest steel framed-and-glass building still in use in the United States."

The chalice has a circular foot with a small flange with a wavy pattern and four straight sections. The slope of the foot has one fold. The cylindrical pelmet of the stem overlaps the base. The nodus is slim, vase-shaped, framed by rings on both sides. The cup is slender with an enlarged edge; it is placed in a basket. The fields of the foot slopes, nodus and basket are alternately fluted and decorated with Regency patterns. The folds of the foot slope, stem rings, cup walls and the fields filled with Regency patterns are gold plated, while the fluted fields are left in a natural silver colour.

Chalice

A decorative and portable piece of furniture in the form of an angular box closed with a pair of small doors and containing eight drawers. It is covered with tortoise shell which is divided into irregular fields by ribbons of rosewood framed with ivory. The decoration also features an ornament of mother-of-pearl in the form of bunches of fruit, panoplies with eagles, birds catching insects, flowers, horns, acanthus leaves, and heads of knights in helmets. There are brass handles on the side walls, created of intertwined snakes.

Moot Hall Aldeburgh

Farmhouse. Possibly formerly a summer house for the abbots of Burton. Early C16 carcass remodelled in the mid C17 and late C19. Timber framed on stone plinth with closely-spaced uprights (parts replaced by brick) with diagonal struts to gables. Brick and lath and plaster infill panels; brick and sandstone ashlar side stacks to the east; tiled roofs. Large U-shaped plan, open to the south (the main prospect) with later additions against the western limb. Probably formerly of hall and cross wings layout, entered through a screens passage to the western side, but substantially altered to take a central porch and upper storeys.

Sinai Park House - Drone Mapping

19th-century headstone of  Patrick Barron (born c. 1810) who died aged 19 in 1829 and was buried in Nenagh graveyard, Kenyon Street, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. The headstone was erected by his father Daniel Barron.  Inscription framed within a lozenge border.  The top of the headstone has a central crucifixion flanked by the Instruments of the Passion aka Arma Christi (Weapons of Christ).  The base of the headstone has been signed by the stonecutter W. P. Birdhill.  These are the initials of William Philpot a stonecutter based around Cragg quarry near the village of Birdhill on the Limerick/Tipperary border. In 1938 P. Barron (born c. 1870) who was a blacksmith aged 68 lived in Sarsfield Street in the town of Nenagh. According to folklore collected from Mr Barron the Barron family in Nenagh were shoemaker's up to one hundred and 50 years ago (c. 1788).   In 1901 there was a record of the death of Daniel Barron (born c. 1801) of Francis Street, a shoemaker. Best viewed in Matcap render.

Patrick Barron Headstone Kenyon St. Nenagh

19th-century slate headstone of Patrick Madden (born c. 1829) who died aged 36 in 1865 & was buried in Nenagh graveyard, Kenyon Street, Co. Tipperary.  The inscription is framed within a border of semi-circles and double incised line running up along either side of the headstone.  The top of the headstone has a double-line inscised Latin Cross with expanded terminals, flanked on either site by an incised heart.  Above the hearts either side of the cross are lozenges framed within a decorative panel.  Two curvilinear lozenges are visible either side of the cross base.  Four leaf-cross withere side of the incised hearts.  Symbols on top of the headstone framed by border of semi-circles which may represent the folds of a a curtain pulled back to reveal the symbols.  Possible curvilinear sunburst quadrants in the corners of the border of the symbols and inscription panel. The horizontal lines visible on the inscription are ruling lines used by the stonecutter to set height, alignment, & spacing of the letters.
