Èze has been described as an “eagle's nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean. It is so high that the light ochre church within (Notre Dame de l’Assomption built in 1764) can be seen from afar. An Egyptian cross inside the church suggests the village's ancient roots, when the Phoenicians erected a temple there to honour the goddess Isis - [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%88ze)

Friedrich Nietzsche stayed in one of the oldest houses of Eze and found inspiration for his third part of "Thus spake Zarathoustra" while climbing to the village by the path. "Many hidden corners and quiets heights in the landscape of Nice were sanctified for me by unforgettable moments" said Frederic Nieztsche in Ecce homo about his first stay on the Riviera from the December 2nd, 1883 to April 20th, 1884 - [Èze Tourism](http://www.eze-tourisme.com/en/decouvrir-visiter-se-divertir-2/visit-eze/eze-seaside/83-uk-son-histoire.html)

An interesting cinema and cafe entrance at the corner of Boxhanger Str. and Niederbarnimstraße of Berlin that features the "Graffiti Wall of Fame". Audio was recorded with binaural mics in my ears, so listen with headphones.

Angel of a grave at the Sankt Marxer cemetery in the 3rd district of Vienna.

The Sankt Marxer Friedhof is a cemetery which was closed in 1874 and is now  under a preservation order. Originally there were more than 8,000 graves here, today 5,635 are still preserved. The City of Vienna runs the St. Marx Cemetery as a park open to the public.

Horseman at Maria-Theresia-Platz in Vienna. The sculptural masterpiece in marble was created by Theodor Friedl. The statue from 1892 shows a Germanic man trying to tame a rearing horse.

The motif of the horseman or horse tamers has often been depicted in sculpture. Examples from the Roman period are the Dioscuri on Capitol Square and the Dioscuri Fountain on Quirinal Square in Rome.

As you can see on the picture, the shooting was quite difficult because of the nearby tree. In the background the Natural History Museum.

Horse tamer on Maria-Theresien-Platz in Vienna: This impressive marble work was created in 1892 by the sculptor Theodor Friedl. It shows a Teuton trying to tame a rearing horse - a dynamic scene full of tension and expressiveness.

The theme of horse tamers has a long tradition in sculpture. It was already taken up many times during the Roman Empire, for example in the famous statues of the Dioscuri on Capitoline Square or the Dioscuri Fountain on Quirinal Square in Rome.

Die Klause Kastel ist ein Landesdenkmal in Rheinland-Pfalz und wurde von Mönchen in die Felswand aus Sandstein geschlagen. Die Ursprünge der Klause gehen auf das 13. Jh. und die Kreuzzüge zurück. Die Klause, die bis heute erhalten geblieben ist, ist dem preußischen König Friedrich Wilhelm IV zu verdanken, der durch den preußischen Baumeister Karl-Friedrich von Schinkel ein Grabmal für den blinden Böhmenkönig Johann errichten ließ.

The Kastel hermitage is a state monument in Rhineland-Palatinate and was carved into the sandstone rock face by monks. The origins of the Klause date back to the 13th century and the Crusades. The hermitage, which has been preserved until today, is owed to the Prussian King Frederick William IV, who had the Prussian master builder Karl-Friedrich von Schinkel build a tomb for the blind Bohemian King John.

The grave of Friedrich Wildner at the Central Cemetery in Vienna, who died when he was only 22 years old, was declared historically significant because of its uniqueness. Instead of a headstone, a larger-than-life angel with folded hands is enthroned at the grave.
