Professor Yuan’s pioneering research has helped transform China from food deficiency to food security within three decades. His accomplishments and clear vision helped create a more abundant food supply and, through food security, a more stable world. Professor Yuan’s distinguished life’s work has caused many to call him the “Father of Hybrid Rice,” while his continuing research offers even more promise for world food security and adequate nutrition for the world’s poor.

Umbreon is a mammalian Pokémon which has a sleek, black body with four slender legs and crimson eyes. It has two pairs of pointed teeth (one pair in each jaw) which are visible when its mouth is open. It has long, pointed ears and a bushy tail, each with a yellow band around them. Its forehead and legs have yellow rings on them.

Umbreon's evolution is the result of Eevee being exposed to the moonlight, which altered its genetic structure. Umbreon's yellow rings glow when it is excited, such as when it leaps to attack; or when exposed to the moon's aura, which fills it with a mysterious energy. Umbreon hunts at night and, as such, has well-developed eyes that can spot a prey even in darkness. Its black fur helps it blend into the night while waiting for the right moment to pounce. When it does, its rings emit a dim yet ominous glow, and it lunges for the prey's throat before eating.

Paraustralopithecus aethiopicus was discovered in southern Ethiopia by French archeologists Camille Arambourg and Yves Coppens in 1967. Paraustralopithecus aethiopicus has notable features that differ from the other robust australopithecines, including a larger zygomatic arch, extended ramus of the mandible, and a more prognathic face. These differences may have been developed during the evolution of aethiopicus, but it may also suggest that P. aethiopicus has a different phylogenetic history than A. robustus and A. boisei.

This is a genetically modified big cat I would say. Although he is very young, he is able to do a few cool tricks and movements. All because of the AI controller on his head between the horns..) Humans developed this creature by modifying the DNA of an animal. This animal grows rapidly and eats well ;). Maybe I will make a fully grown version of it too. He doesn't look very much like his current mother because of the modification. The animal is developed specifically for circus and entertainment. Despite his look he is quite friendly to people and I hope he is going to live a good life.

It is a "genetic abomination" created by InGen at their secret facility on Saint-Hubert Island, originally designed as a prototype in the research that eventually led to the creation of the Indominus rex. variant name (BELUGA)

The Amur tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), also known as the Siberian tiger, is the largest living felid and one of the most endangered tiger subspecies. Native to the Russian Far East, northeastern China, and North Korea, it is adapted to cold, harsh environments with dense forests and heavy snowfall. Adult males can reach up to 3.3 m (11 ft) in total length and weigh over 250 kg (550 lb). Their pale orange coat and widely spaced brown stripes provide camouflage in snow-covered habitats. Unlike other tiger subspecies, Amur tigers often develop a thick winter coat and a layer of fat (up to 5 cm) for insulation. The species is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, with an estimated wild population of 500–600 individuals. Conservation efforts include anti-poaching patrols, habitat restoration, and genetic monitoring.

This is Rexy, a female Tyrannosaurus Rex, a large therapod from the late cretaceous. Rexy is at her largest at this point in the franchise, at about 44.3 feet long, 17.5 feet tall, and 9.1 US tons, making her roughly the weight of an accurate T-Rex. Rexy was born in an InGen facility on Site B on the island of Isla Sorna in 1988, she was the first Tyrannosaurus Rex to be ressurected from extinction in the canonical timeline. At the age of 1 year old, she was transported to Isla Nublar to be featured in the planned theme park now known as Jurassic Park, however, a sabotage, and a hurricane resulted in her escape, she ate 1 human, a gallimimus, clashed with a triceratops, and killed 2 Velociraptors. She roamed free on Nublar until her capture in 2002 for Jurassic World, she eventually was released in 2015 to fight the genetically modified hybrid, The Indominus Rex. she roamed on nublar until she was captured in 2018, nearly auctioned, and released on the mainland until she ended up in biosyn, where she resides.

Sea Creepers, also referred to as Eve, are a pseudospecies derived from humans who have mutated from exposure to t-Abyss Virus. Humans are known to mutate differently based on genetic factors and, in the case of Sea Creepers, respond to unique traits on mitochondrial traits only possessed by a small number of women. A number of female researchers and Il Veltro militants mutated into Sea Creepers in the 2004 and 2005 viral outbreaks. On Queen Zenobia they were known to have established their own territory in the flooded bilge.

This model was obtained by applying advanced photogrammetry technologies and cutting edge techniques currently not applied to this field that have allowed me to recreate previously unattainable models like Harbin, Yunxian 2 and now HLD-6. This model represents a reconstruction of the HLD-6 cranium from the Hualongdong paleoanthropological site in Dongzhi County, Anhui Province, China.

The HLD-6 individual lived during the late Middle Pleistocene, approximately 300,000 years ago. Stratigraphic and geochronological studies place the Hualongdong hominin assemblage between roughly 331–275 thousand years ago.

This digital reconstruction was created using published anatomical descriptions and visual references from the study “Craniofacial reconstruction and morphological analysis of the HLD-6 skull” (Acta Anthropologica Sinica, 2025) and scaled using cranial measurements from the supplementary dataset of “The phylogenetic position of the Yunxian cranium elucidates the origin of Homo longi and the Denisovans.”

While on a genetic level, only the subfamily Aquilinae comprises "true eagles", many other species are commonly referred to as eagles, such as the bald eagle, and the term generally carries no taxonomic weight. Most of the 68 species of eagles are from Eurasia and Africa.[1] Outside this area, just 14 species can be found—two in North America, nine in Central and South America, and three in Australia.

Eagles are not a natural group but denote essentially any kind of bird of prey large enough to hunt sizeable (about 50 cm long or more overall) vertebrates.

Methyl-CpG-binding protein (MBD) is a family of epigenetic gene regulators. This model highlights the main features in chains A, C, and D. The main protein has been highlighted in red, while the short DNA helix has been highlighted in blue. Chain A is the MBD protein domain, while C and D are each strands of complimentary DNA.
