This is the Hardy Tree in [St Pancras Old Church](https://goo.gl/9AiihJ), Camden, London, UK ([OSM](https://goo.gl/ydVXeA)). The tree was reportedly planted by the author Thomas Hardy and the roots are embedded in pile of gravestones.

The point cloud is a combination of a RIEGL VZ-400 scan and a ZEB-REVO (to get detail around the gravestones). The Swedish History Museum holds a large collection of bones of various kinds, including human remains. We living humans are both appalled by and attracted to visible evidence of death. The scanned human remains presented on Sketchfab from our museum are important museum artefacts, chosen because they represent a specific historical event. They also represent one of humanity’s worst acts: violence towards other humans. It is therefore our wish that you, as a viewer, use the 3D-models with respect. 

The image shows a human cranium with injuries on its left and front side. A small, square hole above the left eye and on the left cheek bone was probably caused by a pole weapon or a battle axe. The gash across the mouth could have been caused by a sword or a thin bladed axe.The cranium is one of several thousand artifacts found in a mass grave outside Visby on the island Gotland. All remains and objects found on the site stem from a battle between Gotlandic peasants and Danish mercenaries on 27 July 1361.

Most of the surface detail has been painted on in Substance Painter so will not appear in a 3d print.   I have also included an additional STL file  (click additional file at download) which I have used for 3d printing - see image below (sorry additional file temporarily missing - am looking for it).  This version has surface detail such as the crosses but does not have all of the engraved detail seen in the model displayed here.

The most famous of the Govan stones, the sarcophagus represents a rare monument type in early medieval Scotland prior to the 12th century AD. It was rediscovered in the churchyard by a gravedigger in 1856 and was moved into the church in 1908. It is decorated with a hunting scene, different arrangements of interlaced beasts, and six panels of interlace, some of which appear to be interlaced snakes. It is not known what the lid might have looked like, but two complete drainage holes in the base of the monument (and the worn surfaces surrounding them) suggest that the sarcophagus originally acted as a coffin for the remains of a royal saint, but later functioned as a reliquary.

Asset Graveyard (The Darkest Red)

Scanned today (2016-12-05) in a grave yard in Ft. Worth, Texas.

This is a decimated model. Processed using RealityCapture with 335 photographs. Canon 6D, 50mm lens, 800 ISO, f8 @ 1/100 sec. No tripod and no footstool to get the top of the cross... oh, well... I think I got most of the important stuff.

Grave of honour of Johannes Benk at the Vienna Central Cemetery.
The Austrian sculptor Johannes Benk (1844-1914) created several statues for the Vienna Votivkirche, the Museum of Military History and the Museum of Art and Natural History. His main work, the Deutschmeister monument, is located on Vienna's Ringstrasse. In 1924 Benkgasse in Vienna was named after the sculptor.
