*Strix varia*, or the barred owl, can be commonly found in dense forests and wooded swamps in southwestern Canada, Washington, Oregon and northern California. The barred owl is, on average 48-51 cm tall, and has a rounded-head with grey-white facial disc. Where many owls have ear tufts, the barred owl does not.

The small serrations on an owl’s primary feathers creates small vortices reducing noise from wind drag to near zero. The silent flight of owls inspired the biomimetic solution to wind noise caused by the Shinkansen Bullet Train as it travels near 350km/h. These serrations also inspired the redesign of  Ziehl-Abegg, Inc’s fan blades, reducing noise and improving energy efficiency. Spanish City Grey Ghost render

Here is a 3D photogrammetric reconstruction of a young whale that came to rest at the bottom of the ocean near Davidson Sea Mount off of Monterey Bay, CA.  The species of this whale is still being determined, but it is speculated to be a young Grey or Humpback Whale, which are often predated upon by Killer Whales in the area.  The whale is approximately 4 to 5 meters in length and was found at a depth of over 3000m.
Researchers at the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the [E/V Nautilus](http://nautiluslive.org/video/2019/10/17/baleen-whale-fall-becomes-deep-sea-banquet-davidson-seamount) happened upon this whale in 2019, while surveying the nearby octopus brooding grounds.  Several octopus and species of bone-eating worms, called Osedax, which appear as red fur on the tail section, can be seen scavenging the whale. 

This model was reconstructed by a team at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute using approximately 600 still frames from video taken by ROV Hercules and the E/V Nautilus crew.

This is a halloween special for all of my fans. This is the slender or true identity of catnap that is skinny as a bone, ribs and skeletal system on its body, and a long wide mouth. This guy looks like ghost face from the movie Scream, but its a skinny grey cat.

Old tractor - Ferguson TE20

Scrap Baby has a somewhat mangled appearance. Her hair is comprised of light orange, dark orange, and grey blue wires that lay flat on her forehead, but spike up in pigtails on the side of her head. Her neck has no metal covering, exposing the wires that lie underneath. She wears on orange bikini with puffy red sleeves. Two large circles, perhaps the remains of speakers, are placed haphazardly in the middle of her chest. One of her hands has been substituted for the claw that once came out of her chest. The other hand has no metal covering, exposing the claw-like wires underneath. Her legs are halfway covered with a thin metal covering, but wires still poke out from underneath. She has red kneecaps, which could be kneepads, considering she has roller skates rather than jester shoes she had in her previous form. Blue pins erupt from her shoulders and part of her thigh, and possibly a crown is adorned on her head. Her face bares somewhat of a resemblance to her past self. and other stuff

The grey fox (*Urocyon cinereoargenteus*) is an omnivorous mammal of the family *Canidae*, widespread throughout North America and Central America. Though it was once the most common fox in the eastern United States, and still is found there, human advancement and deforestation allowed the red fox to become more dominant. The grey fox is the only American canid that can climb trees. Its specific epithet *cinereoargenteus* means "ashen silver".
