Sandstone Sculpture

3D scans I used to dress a 3D environment I made for school in Unreal Engine.

Found really cool looking Angels statues here on sketchfab that were free to download. Having to create a lot of assets in a very amount of time, I just decimated them Zbrush and cringely unwrapped them. I baked these decimated meshes and textured them in Substance to have more optimized meshes and not break performance in Engine.
Even tho they're really not the best, I think they could be useful to people also wanting to use these scans for a realtime scene. Since I got the scans for free, they're here for anyone willing to use them!

This white oak grove was generated using a roughly 125-year growth simulation in Florasynth. The trees were simulated growing together on a hillside, competing for light, space, and favorable growing conditions over more than a century.

Each tree in this grove remains its own separate mesh, but their growth histories are interconnected. The simulation grew them together, allowing neighboring trees to influence each other's form through competition and environmental pressure. The overall structure of the grove emerged naturally from these interactions, creating a more realistic forest relationship than hand-placed trees.

White Oak Trees

This feature (MAHS-THA-STN-MUS-PUU-S-002-F-0001) is a Melayu-style wooden stilt house with open storage space below and later renovations using corrugated tiles and galvanized sheets. Its design reflects Perak influence through slender stilts, pinned joinery, and a carved side serambi. The northern entrance leads into a semi-public veranda and main hall with two bedrooms and a common area. Lap-sided wall panels, timber-framed windows with floral glass, ventilation laths, and an eastern mangrove-timber platform define its character.

Historical Significance:
Erected to honor Matthew Lawler (former Mayor of Philadelphia) and his wife Ann, this Egyptian Revival sphinx caused massive controversy. The cemetery's Christian directors initially objected to the "pagan" iconography. It was eventually permitted and became one of Spring Grove's most famous monuments.

**Preservation Status (Critical)**
While appearing resolute from a distance, this model documents severe, rapid structural failure. The stone survived its first 150 years well, but recent freeze-thaw cycles have devastated it. Massive mechanical cracks splitting the torso have been patched with modern sealants that are already failing. Furthermore, the extensive historical inscriptions on the base are actively sugaring and nearly impossible to read. This "Digital Twin" preserves the text and geometry before the next fracture.
