**Description**
Devil's Slide was the location of a military triangulation station and observation site used during World War II as part of the harbor defense of San Francisco. Prior to the advent of radar, military personnel used binoculars and compasses to search for ships at sea and relay their coordinates to a central post. By combining information from multiple observation posts, a ship's precise location could be determined by triangulation. There were six military structures at the Devil's Slide: three concrete and steel observation pill-boxes, two concrete and earth bunkers, and a reinforced steel observation tower. This building was part of a harbor, that was never finished. Located in Leipzig, Germany at the end of Karl-Heine-Canal. I scanned the building with a Mavic 2 Pro, used RealityCapture to compute a 40 Million and a 250K Poly Version and then moved the Detail from High to Low via Normal Maps. Finally I computed roughness and metalness maps via ShaderMap4. 

The Model contains 1 250K Poly FBX and 6 4K UDIM's

"The Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse was the second screwpile lighthouse built by the U.S. Lighthouse Service. It was originally located 15 miles southeast of this location. The 47-foot-high, round, screwpile lighthouse was completed by the Baltimore "ironfounders" firm of Murray and Hazelhurst in 1856 at a cost of more than $30,000. It was a construction of rolled-iron plates, drilled and riveted together and supported on nine cast-iron screwpiles. The screwpiles eliminated the need for an underwater masonry foundation. 

The light at Seven Foot Knoll marked the outer entrance to Baltimore's busy harbor and was manned until 1948, when the Coast Guard automated it. In 1988, the lighthouse was officially retired and with the help of a barge and 460-ton crane, moved to Pier 5 in Baltimore's Inner Harbor..."

Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse

This is a 3D animation of a live harbor porpoise ("Freja", Female, Total Length of 155.5 cm) that was recreated using a combination of photogrammetry, photography and video.  This work was done in collaboration with Peter Madsen and Fredrik Christensen from the University of Aarhaus, CG artist Johnson Martin and others. The Fjord Baelt in Denmark kindly allowed us access to the animal.

Mesh accuracy was confirmed through correlation between digital and live measures.

Only 27  Leviathan-class Battleships were made. its weapons are: 4 medium cannons on the front and back. One heavy cannon on the front. 6 semi-medium cannons on the sides, as well as 4 small multi-use cannons on the side ledges. The total cost for a  Leviathan-class Battleship is up to $1.2bil.  i made it so if you use it for any games or anything and people have to walk arround i added some room for it. enjoy!

HISTORY 

In the 1970s and 80s, Kai Tak had become famous for its Checkerboard Approach, a daring landing path that required pilots to aim straight at a giant red-and-white checkerboard painted on a hillside, then make a sharp right turn just seconds before touchdown.

Despite its challenges, Kai Tak was beloved. It was a gateway to the city’s neon lights, bustling markets, and endless energy. For many travelers, the moment the wheels hit the runway—water spraying from the harbor on both sides—was the moment they truly arrived in Hong Kong.

On July 6, 1998, Kai Tak’s final flight lifted into the night sky, its runway lights dimming for the last time. The airport closed, but its spirit never faded. Today, Kai Tak lives on in memories, photographs, and models like yours—reminders of an era when flying into Hong Kong felt like an adventure written in the sky.

This is the Time Ball Mechanism which is inside the The Time Ball Tower.

The [Time Ball Tower](https://skfb.ly/prsrK), was constructed in 1894 as part of the growing harbor infrastructure. It was initially a one-story structure used for time signaling, with the ball being dropped at 1 PM to aid ships in setting their marine chronometers. In 1903, the tower was raised to improve visibility and the mechanism was electrified. The tower became obsolete in 1934 with the introduction of radio time signals. Although no longer in use, it was declared a National Monument in 1982 and restored in 1997, with a reconstructed time ball mechanism that now operates electronically.

The Mechanism was scanned in July 2024 with a Artec Leo scanner.
