Although his contemporaries criticized his style and his choice of animal subjects, Barye is today esteemed as the founder of the Parisian animaliers.
The noble lion, representing the new King and the people of France, is shown in a triumphant struggle against the serpent, symbolizing Charles X (reigned 1824–1830) and the ousted Bourbon dynasty. The pair additionally suggests a celestial sanction for Louis-Philippe’s reign by alluding to the constellations of Leo (the lion) and Hydra (the sea serpent), which “ruled the heavens” during the days of the July Revolution (July 27-30, 1830).

Mount Carmel is a coastal mountain range in northern Israel stretching from the Mediterranean Sea towards the southeast. A number of towns are situated there, most notably the city of Haifa, Israel's third largest city, located on the northern and western slopes. The range is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. 

Due to the lush vegetation on the sloped hillside, and many caves on the steeper side, Carmel became the haunt of criminals. In ancient Canaanite culture, high places were frequently considered to be sacred, and Mount Carmel appears to have been no exception.  

In mainstream Jewish, Christian, and Islamic thought, Elijah is associated with the mountain, and he is regarded as having sometimes resided on the mountain.  The Bible's book of 1 Kings 18, records a showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. A bridge spanning the "jasper green pond" in the southern part of the "Garden of Heavenly Peace" in Bethmannpark in Frankfurt am Main.  
430 photos were taken with a Nikon D5000. The model was created in RealityCapture and edited in Blender.  
To save time, photos were taken only from one side of the bridge and this was mirrored afterwards.  
Due to strong weather changes during the photographing and not quite optimal settings of the camera, the quality of the textures did not meet my expectations.

By checking the map you can still see that some cities have been founded with this principle in mind. This was the antiquity GPS system. far more reliable than the modern one. Three dead souls were judged by the judge in the underworld. The first one was sentenced to the Mountain of Swords for his evil deeds in his previous life. He tried to bribe the judge but failed. The second one practiced Buddhism in his previous life and hoped not to reincarnate, but the judge thought that being reborn as a human was a privilege and ordered him to continue reincarnation. The third one was sentenced to the Pool of Blood for killing someone by refining elixirs, but a celestial general appeared and showed him a summons from heaven, and took him away to become a celestial soldier.

Black Myth: Wukong - Ying Tian Bing [Static]

The Nepomuk Chapel in Mauerbach is a small Baroque structure from the early 18th century and was built around 1722. It is one of the typical open canopy chapels erected in honor of Saint John of Nepomuk, an important patron saint of bridges and water. The chapel is open on all sides through round-arched openings and is supported by pillars, giving it a pavilion-like character. Inside stands a statue of the saint, who is venerated as a martyr and patron saint against water-related dangers.

A surrounding balustrade delineates the sacred space and is adorned with decorative putto figures, which, as cherubim, symbolize the heavenly sphere. The chapel is a typical example of Baroque popular piety and remains a culturally and historically significant monument to this day.
