The game was derived from the Indian game chaturanga, which is also the likely ancestor of the Eastern strategy games xiangqi, janggi, and shogi. Chess reached Europe by the 9th century, due to the Umayyad conquest of Hispania. The pieces assumed their current powers in Spain in the late 15th century; the rules were standardized in the 19th century.

Carbo-Nate, a racer who competes for the Six-Packs, is a calm racer who tries to keep in control for the race. Cursed with a terrible temper, he tries his best to maintain that peace and avoid fizzing up. However, this curse, is also his greatest weapon. Once Carbo-Nate gets fizzed off and pops his top, his control goes out the window, and with it comes pure speed. He spent much of his time in training to learn to control this and has done well to succeed in keeping it under control and putting a cap on it. 
Competitive by nature, he was born a bigger bottle and had to earn his way into the racing community. Everything he learned from his father and his family, he will take everything he has in order to bring home the checkered napkin. The Six-Pack took him in to race under their organization and he is leaving a bubbly trail of wins in his goal to win. Carbo-Nate is racing to win and when he puts on the pressure, there is not much that can catch him.

Despite its challenges, Kai Tak was beloved. It was a gateway to the city’s neon lights, bustling markets, and endless energy. For many travelers, the moment the wheels hit the runway—water spraying from the harbor on both sides—was the moment they truly arrived in Hong Kong.

On July 6, 1998, Kai Tak’s final flight lifted into the night sky, its runway lights dimming for the last time. The airport closed, but its spirit never faded. Today, Kai Tak lives on in memories, photographs, and models like yours—reminders of an era when flying into Hong Kong felt like an adventure written in the sky.
