The PKM was adopted into service in 1969. The PKM is a modernized, product-improved version of the PK. The upgrades, primarily aimed at reducing the weight, simplifying production, and facilitating easier operation. The receiver cover became more rigid due to lengthwise ribs. The butt was fitted with a hinged butt-rest. The barrel fluting was omitted and the flash hider was changed. Later on the PKM was equipped with a new black glass-filled polyamide buttstock and pistol grip shaped like the previously used laminated wooden stock and grip.

The harquebusier was the most common form of cavalry found throughout Western Europe during the early to mid-17th century. Early harquebusiers were characterised by the use of a type of carbine called a "harquebus". In England, harquebusier was the technical name for this type of cavalry, though in everyday usage they were usually simply called 'cavalry' or 'horse'. In Germany they were often termed Ringerpferd, or sometimes Reiter, in Sweden they were called lätta ryttare.

The armour comprises a Pot Helmet with two-piece skull joined by a low-comb, neck-guard (Lobster tail) of simulated lames and pointed peak or visor with three-bar guard hinged at each side to allow it to be raised when not needed. At each side are the cheek pieces for protection, hinged by means of leather strips.

This model represents a hinge mounting bracket designed for mechanical assemblies. The component features a rectangular base plate with mounting holes and a cylindrical pivot support used for connecting rotating or hinged parts.

The curved reinforcement between the base and the pivot housing improves structural strength while maintaining a compact design. The part demonstrates common CAD modeling techniques such as extrusion, filleting, hole features, and cylindrical geometry creation.

This model was created as part of a mechanical CAD practice series to improve skills in parametric modeling and mechanical component design.

Padlock with semicircular hinged shackle and a hollow pin key. The numeral "1684" was stamped on the shackle. The keyhole was secured by a preliminary lock, the opening of which required a specific trick: pressing a spring activated the preliminary lock, which sprang open to reveal the keyhole.
