3D rendition of a beautiful illustration used as inspiration, of the talented artist [Death Burger](https://www.instagram.com/deathburger/). Had a lot of fun painting it all the way to completion, even though it took way more time than I anticipated. The head and the hair were done in ZBrush, the visor in Maya and all the unlit texturing in Substance Painter.

Cozy Day

I made a shader in blender where it averages the color of your baked textures and replaces the areas with transparent strokes. It gives a very cool effect. This scene is my tribute to **R.A.Salvatore's** fantasy book series about legendary **Drizzt Do'Urden** - the dark elf who rejected life of lies and evil ways of his family and was exiled by his kin. First three books of the series tell the story of how he managed to escape the depths of the Underdark and begin a new life on **the Surface**. Among his new friends there is a step-daughter of the dvarven king (Battlehammer) - **Cattie-brie**. Young  woman sees the dark elf for who he truly is. Quotations are taken from books 1,2 and 4.<br>

I made this scene for Hand-painted **[Storybook Scene Challenge](https://sketchfab.com/blogs/storybook-challenge/)**. Everything is done in Blender 3.0. All the concept art is done by myself based on my imagination, books, existing illustrations of Drizzt and Cattie and my life experiences.

Complex of men's costume for the second half of the XIV century.Coin Purse.
A purse or pouch (from Latin bursa, which in turn comes from the Greek βρρσα, býrsa, oxhide), Sometimes called a coin purse for clarity, is a small money bag or pouch made for carrying coins.
In the XV century, purses were worn by both men and women. They were often finely embroidered or decorated with gold. In addition, men usually gave their new brides purses embroidered with an illustration of a love story.

Well, this is one of my first attempts to learn 3D modeling and texturing, after working with 2D motion graphics for 5+ years. I really enjoy this process, and I hope to learn more about 3D. so any kind of feedback will be very much appreciated.

In this little sketch I wanted to combine 3d geometry with stylized 2d graphics and create this modern illustration feel with hand-drawn shadows and highlights, so please write in the comments how well this turned out.
