Lidded incense burner (xianglu)

Free 8K model - ornate medieval war hammer with spiked poll, flanged steel head, brass inlays and wood shaft; great for knights, fantasy and historic props.

Ornate War Hammer

Anthropomorphic whistle  in the shape of a standing woman holding, with her right arm a wide-brimmed hat with decorated edge. In her left hand, she holds a round fan with a cylindrical handle and a spiked rim, which she points downward. She wears a skirt, leaving her bust exposed, simple jewelry, and wears her long hair combed down the middle. A very interesting feature is the facial decoration, with designs on the cheeks achieved using the scarring or excoriation technique, which consists of making incisions in the skin that, when healed, leave marks or raised designs, especially if the skin is keloid. In some cases, to enhance the relief, pebbles or other objects were placed under the raised skin, like inlays.

The quipe Pur Sang package enhances the Bugatti Tourbillon with advanced aerodynamic components like a dedicated front splitter bespoke rear wing with endplates and a specialized rear diffuser that boosts downforce and stability. It also features an 8 pipe exhaust system and carbon fiber engine cover inlays that contribute to both performance and a more aggressive stance. Newly developed directional wheels 20 inches in the front and 21 in the rear are uniquely designed for each side improving airflow to the rear radiator by up to 8 while minimizing turbulence.

3D model of a wooden tray with mother-of-pearl inlays that is part of the Uetz collection. 

Karl Uetz (1914–1998) was a private collector and owner of a large mollusc collection. In addition to thousands of snail and mussel shells, the collection also contains approximately 200 art and everyday objects as well as ethnographic objects. The collection was purchased by the NHM in 1974 and digitised in 2025.

Mask composed of jade fragments assembled using mosaic technique, forming the face of a supernatural being. It features square eyes, a prominent nose, and a semi-open mouth revealing three conical teeth—an unusual detail that may result from an incorrect restoration. The ears are decorated with shell inlays and square earspools with central perforations. Atop the head rises a trilobed element resembling a diadem, possibly associated with symbols of power or divinity. Traces of hematite are preserved at the joints of the mosaic.

Ceramic figure known as "The Musician", representing a man sitting with his legs crossed and holding a rattle with his left hand. The character wears paint on his face (red and yellow), ornaments on his arms, and a three-strand necklace (with clay balls applied). His ears are pierced with expanders with decorated edges. He wears a helmet or cap and a loincloth tied at the back. His back shows visible vertebrae or body decoration with piercing, inlay and scarring.

Musician with a Rattle

A brooch in the shape of a shoe-sole with a hinge construction and a small loop at the heel. The base plate with a narrow frame is entirely enameled in orange-red, and the nail decoration is indicated by about 14 points without enamel inlays. The narrow edge of the sole is adorned with a continuous row of fine, successive dots. The pin and pin holder survive only in fragments.

This object was digitized through the 'Kulturerbe digital' program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.

Shoe-sole brooch

Mask composed of jade fragments assembled using mosaic technique, with shell and obsidian inlays in the eyes. The face represents a figure wearing round earspools, decorated with a scroll at the top and a trilobed element at the base. The open eyes, broad nose, and full lips stand out—features that evoke a solemn and possibly idealized presence. Incised details are filled with hematite, accentuating the facial contours. The mask is mounted on clear acrylic for preservation and display; however, although pieces of Pre-Columbian origin were used, not all fragments appear to correspond to the piece.

Funerary Mask Made of Jade Mosaic

Zoomorphic pectoral made of orange-colored shell, in the form of a crocodile or lizard with jade inlays set in the eyes. The body details are rendered through incised lines and grooves; three additional perforations intended for inlays are present but now missing. On the dorsal surface, the carved figure of another animal, possibly a jaguar, is depicted, with its features defined by incised detailing. The eyes are open and fitted with green jade inlays, and the bodily features are articulated through incision.

Pectoral in the form a Crocodile or Lizard

A Pulpit in a Mosque in Istanbul, decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay.

Mosque Pulpit

Magnificent gilded ring buckle of bronze from the Viking Age of Irish workmanship, with thin tinned silver plating on one side. The three-sided fields on the buckle's wide ends are smooth, but the large roundings on the buckle are originally the eyes of the animal and are larger and with ornaments along the edge. There are traces of amber inlay in one of the roundings. - The other side has a thin tinned silver plating, richly decorated with engraved ornaments. In the lower corners of the large three-sided fields are circular fields filled with scrolls. On each of the large three-sided fields is a richly decorated animal figure. Directly opposite the wide ends is also a field decorated with ribbon braids. Dated to 800-1050 AD.

She wears jewelry and a skirt painted with Maya blue, a color associated with the sacred and the celestial in the Mesoamerican worldview. She also wears what appears to be a cap with several perforations, possibly intended for the insertion of decorative elements such as feathers, beads, or organic materials.
