My attempt at making something close to OceanGate Titan Submersible, which was tragically lost after it went missing on the 18th June 2023. The US Coast Guard's findings explained that it had imploded and the crew had been instantly killed. The Titan was doomed from the beginning, with unusual practise during its construction and made with crude materials. The Titan was an experimental submersible, and was not officially certified. 

A doomed submersible from the very beginning of its existence. May the crew rest in peace.

My first attempt at scanning large scale buildings. I think i'll need another lens to capture the top parts better, but i'm pretty satisfied with the surface detail.

A Stargate is an Einstein–Rosen bridge portal device within the Stargate fictional universe that allows practical, rapid travel between two distant locations. The devices first appear in the 1994 Roland Emmerich film Stargate, and thereafter in the television series Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe. In these productions, the Stargate functions as a plot generator, allowing the main characters to visit alien planets without the need for spaceships or any other type of technology. The device allows for near-instantaneous travel across both interstellar and extragalactic distances.

Stargate

The Convent of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles de la Hoz is located in the Duraton Canyon in Segovia, Spain. The site consists of the ruins of a 13th Century Convent that is believed to have been established by the Franciscan Order. The site was abandoned in the middle 19th Century and had notible visitors including Queen Isabella and King Philip II. Accessing the site is possible only by boat but for a few months during the year when it is possible to visit the site on foot when river water levels are lower. 

The 3D model was made using 4,356 images captured with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 drone; images were processed in CapturingReality; additional processing was completed in Geomagic and Instantmeshes.

I saw this beautiful model made by Costr on sketchfab and instantly felt desire to give it some good looking texture.

Changes made to the model: added some additional polygons where i feel it's needed, fully unwrapped UVs, authored PBR textures.

Question to participants/Sketchfab staff: I couldn't find anywhere in the rules that I can't do it, but I noticed no other participants use it - Am I allowed to have a custom background? Or does it count as post-processing? 

Eeey, I participated in the challenge :D It was quite fun to make. I thought of this idea that what if Athena in her fury, wanted Arachne to suffer as much as possible and instead of instantly transforming her into a spider, took her sweet time and tortured Arachne by slowly corrupting her entire body and turning it into something hideous. 

I tried to go for a bit different palette ( fantasy exotic-like spiders) than what you would expect from the usual spiders, to see how that would turn out. It was really fun!

First real attempt at photogrammetry. Scanned a baby angel statue. Based on around 50 photos.

**Process**: Photographed with my canon DSLR, 3DF Zephyr to create high poly 3d model, instant meshes to create a low poly model, tweaked low poly model and created new UV map in 3ds Max, baked and textured in substance painter

This model is suitable for games. Feel free to download and use this model in your projects. Credit would be appreciated

Garden Baby Angel Statue

This scan shows the sculpture of a magic broom as seen in Fantasia. In The Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence, Mickey casts a spell to bring brooms to life so they can do the all the work.

The model was reconstructed from 45 photos with Agisoft Photoscan, remeshed with Instant Meshes and remapped with Blender. The photos were taken in the Walt Disney Studios Park, in France.
