My second airplane in blender, and with the experience I learned from my 787, I was able to create this plane much quicker, and also much better. This model has an improved landing gear + animation, as well as a much lower vertice count making it even better for a game.

This is a 3D animation of a subadult Shortfin Mako Shark (Isurus oxyrinchus). This is a composite shark model that was reconstructed using a combination of photographs and video from Joe Romeiro, and also referenced against a 3D photogrammetry scan of a subadult Mako shark (provided by Joshua Moyer).

We thank the Atlantic Shark Institute (Jon Dodd) and the Cape Eleuthera Institute (Nathan Robinson and Edd Brooks) for supporting and facilitating creation of the model.  Nathan Robinson is now at Oceanogràfic.

CG artist Robert Gutierrez reconstructed this shark from photographs and other information using the open-access software Blender.  As this model was recreated from photos and other data, we make no claim that it perfectly reflects an actual shark, but we have strived to be as anatomically correct as possible.

Model 62A - Shortfin Mako

This is a highly detailed model of a Learjet 35A. This aircraft was developed by Bombardier. It was created as a private aircraft that could seat 7 passengers, but also saw military use transporting higher ranking officials. 

This project was designed fully by me, and took around a month to develop. It features a fully working landing gear with shocks, Flaps, detailed engines, full interior which includes a cockpit and cabin, working door with hinge details, 8k exterior texture + bump map for windows, and some nice leather for the inside.

Cockpit includes yoke, seats, seatbelts, rudder pedals, main console, full instrumentation. 

Cabin includes seats, seat adjustment rails, windows, tray tables, detailed door lock, and A/C + lighting detail.

Long before the world ever heard of that guy with the silver glove the Ohlson family made their home at their version of Wonderland Ranch in the remote desert which is now Joshua Tree National Park.

The scan consists of 123 photos all taken from ground level.

This is a photoscan I shot of it November 2014.  It was an interesting scan because my 3 kids seemed  intent on "photobombing" half the shots I took, but since they were moving around so much, no sign of them appears in the final scan.  I good lesson.

Wonderland Ranch Joshua Tree NP

Ce sextant, a fait partie de l’armement du *Joshua*, le bateau du célèbre navigateur Bernard Moitessier, « le vagabond des mers du Sud ». Instrument inventé pour la navigation marine, il permet de se localiser en mesurant l'angle entre l'horizon et un objet lointain (clocher, montagne) ou un astre (Soleil, Lune ou étoile). 
Il est composé d'une petite lunette, pour viser l'horizon, de deux miroirs (qui projettent l'image de l'objet visé), d'un bras mobile et d'un arc de cercle gradué sur lequel on lit l’angle formé entre l’objet visé et l’horizon. L'angle d'ouverture est de 60°, d'où le nom de l'instrument.

**Trivia:**
The Queensland Railways 1200 Class is a diesel-electric locomotive built by English Electric in Bradford in the 1950s. Designed for mainline passenger and freight duties, these locomotives were notably used on the iconic Sunlander service between Brisbane and Cairns, a journey of approximately 1,681 km along Queensland’s North Coast Line.

From the wiki: "Conceptualized for Van Buren by Chris Applehans and modeled by Glenn Price, the Lil' Pip is not mentioned in design documents, suggesting it came about later in development. Joshua Sawyer later included it in his tabletop RPG, describing it as a much less cumbersome device worn on the forearm, but offering all the functionality of its bigger variant. The device used integrated circuits, rather than vacuum tubes, a flip-up split-screen monitor with three display colors to choose from (green, blue, and red), and could accept up to six data tubes as expansion hardware to expand its functionality. However, it was not a sales success, due to the fragility of the device, as compared to the rugged 2000 series. It could read holodisks like any other device, using a loading tray."
