The Philippines is home to many abandoned relics and one building that stands out is the old Diplomat Hotel in Baguio City.  Formerly a convent and seminary, the building was converted into a hotel after World War II.  The building holds a very gory history of violence and torture.  Local legend has it that it is home to hundreds of tortured souls searching for justice from their terrible demise.  
Even with its haunted history, the building itself is a beautiful relic of its once glorious past.  I took a lot of creative license with the dilapidation of the interior.  The building itself is still pretty much intact and if you have the heart of a thrill seeker, I urge you to visit the actual site.

The Palace of Justice was built between 1875 and 1881 in the neo-renaissance style. Today it houses the Supreme Court of Justice, the General Procurator's Office, the Higher Regional Court of Vienna, the Vienna Office of the Senior Public Prosecutor and the Regional Court for Civil Matters in Vienna.

This is one of my favorite renditions by a great piece of work. I took an amazing artists' 2D work and 3D-ified it! I really wanted a challenge this time, so I spent a good chunk of time trying to get everything right, without directly copying everything piece-by-piece (for instance, the leaves are flowing around instead of being inside the tea bag, etc.) - I really wanted to portray the beauty of this piece in a coherent way and I think I did it justice and hope the artist, if they ever find their way here, thinks the same!! United States Penitentiary, Alcatraz Island, also known simply as Alcatraz or The Rock, was a maximum security federal prison on Alcatraz Island, 1.25 miles (2.01 km) off the coast of San Francisco, California, United States. The site of a fort since the 1850s, the main prison building was built in 1910–12 as a U.S. Army military prison.

The United States Department of Justice acquired the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Pacific Branch, on Alcatraz on October 12, 1933. The island became adapted and used as a prison of the Federal Bureau of Prisons in August 1934 after the buildings were modernized and security increased. Given this high security and the island's location in the cold waters and strong currents of San Francisco Bay, prison operators believed Alcatraz to be escape-proof and America's most secure prison.

At first he seems calm, friendly, and relaxed, welcoming patients into the bathhouse. That facade quickly crumbles: Wolfram is revealed to be callous, manipulative, and intolerant of those who defy his orders, even chasing and sedating the protagonist to “clean” them. Rumors in the Klinik hint he was fired for abusing patients yet escaped justice and was rehired under Dr. Randolph’s regime.
