BLACKSMITH

I recently read a book on home styling and it inspired me to try design one. I want a simple room, a ceiling window, a swing and some unique elements to represent where I'm from, such as a wall deco in Singlish. 
Though I struggled alot with the designing process, overall I'm pretty happy with the learning experience. I also added some chromatic and bloom filter in this scene.

Age: 680,000-780,000 years B.P.

Material: plaster cast.

Notes: RLA catalog no. 1979rp44 (cast).  Skull discovered between 1929 and 1936 in a cave near Zhou Xian, and lost during World War II.  Cast is based on descriptions, photographs, sketches, and reconstructions by Davidson Black and Franz Weidenreich.  Formerly classified as Sinanthropus pekinensis and Homo erectus pekinensis. Here is week four in my animal anatomy exploration project. I found myself having trouble deciding on what specific whale species I wanted to base this off of. I was constantly bouncing back and forth between the blue whale and humpback.

Whisker Whale

Small home covered in moss, grass and flowers on wood stilts.  Hand painted textures, no lighting in the scene.  First time trying out Blender's texture painting feature but I only scratched the surface, using only a color texture.  A quick and fun project :D

Grass Hut

I made this model after seeing Dani Wootton's excellent '5 Fascinating Finds' video on the Time Team channel https://youtu.be/m-Z1uM9DMRI

This model illustrates Dani's description of how Roman pottery was mass produced using a mould with decorations pressed into the mould surface.  Click on the annotations on the model for more information.

In researching this model I visited the British Museum in London to get a closer look at the 'punches' that were used to create the decorative indentations in the mould surface.  I felt sure the surface of the punch must be curved to follow the contour of the mould but wasn't sure if the curve was more pronounced so that the punch would be rocked back and forwards when being pressed into the clay.  The example I saw at the British Museum (Ancient Rome room - display case 26 - see below) showed a punch with a figure on it and a slight convex curve which I think would have matched the surface of the mould.

Based on ancient Egyptian pharaohs. I see Nefertari as being a somewhat strict, but fair queen who tries her best to watch out for her people.
Included in this set are Nefertari in both her usual attire and as a mummy. Also included are a crook and flail along with her sarcophagus.

Pharaoh Nefertari

The Great White Shark is a large playable male shark in all six installments in the Hungry Shark series. He is the fifth shark appeared in Hungry Shark Evolution. He has an evil counterpart. The Great White Shark is the fifth standard shark to be unlocked in Hungry Shark Evolution.
He is the largest extant, non-fictional shark and fish in the game, since the Megalodon, Dunkleosteus, Mosasaurus, and Liopleurodon no longer exist in real life, Alan, Destroyer of Worlds is a frilled shark and along with Moby Dick and Kraken which is a giant squid, do not attack humans and Nessie, Sharkjira, Abysshark, Luminite, Behemoth and Sharknarok are fictional sharks.
