'Armpit City' is such a slum, owned by the Pharmacists' Union crime syndicate, their influence running deep, trashing and destroying business rivels to those who act on their will. To those servants, power flows readily. Power, however, always comes at a price.

Journey is an indie adventure game

In Journey, the player controls a robed figure in a vast desert, traveling towards a mountain in the distance. Other players on the same journey can be discovered, and two players can meet and assist each other, but they cannot communicate via speech or text and cannot see each other's names until after the game's credits. The only form of communication between the two is a musical chime, which transforms dull pieces of cloth found throughout the levels into vibrant red, affecting the game world and allowing the player to progress through the levels. The developers sought to evoke in the player a sense of smallness and wonder and to forge an emotional connection between them and the anonymous players they meet along the way.

I tried to preserve the logic of the classic level in the modern design. In this work, I experimented with modular assets, so you can assemble levels with simple geometry using the model source 🙂

Due to the animation, there is a slight dithering effect on metal surfaces. If you want to take a closer look at the locations, I recommend pausing the animation. And also don't forget to turn on HD textures

Back in the day (2002) modeling was very low poly. But damn, just reopening those old works of mine, I crashed Windows 10 :) "Your computer is running low on Memory". And believe me at this time we weren't working on i7 Quad Core with 32Gb of RAM :)

But I'm glad I took some time to clean the mess. It's fun to see old works like that.

Sadly those levels were looking "way better" thanks to vertex color information. We had to paint vertices by hand in order to create the atmosphere. But I couldn't figure out a way to get this back in Sketchfab, if there is a way ?

Window Tinting 35% Tint (AR) Final

This is a partial scan of the cemetary in Igualada, which was designed by Enric Miralles and Carme Pinos. Miralles himself died only a few years after the completion of the cemetary and is buried there.

The space captured is a kind of chapel that sits above the necropolis. It is adjacent to the cemetary's crematorium, which is now out of use.

The capture was assembled out of about a thousand photos taken with a Google Pixel 2 XL. The large gap in light levels between the exterior shots and the depths of the interior made this one difficult to capture well.

VR viewing is recommended!

Igualada Cemetery: Chapel

The Convent of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles de la Hoz is located in the Duraton Canyon in Segovia, Spain. The site consists of the ruins of a 13th Century Convent that is believed to have been established by the Franciscan Order. The site was abandoned in the middle 19th Century and had notible visitors including Queen Isabella and King Philip II. Accessing the site is possible only by boat but for a few months during the year when it is possible to visit the site on foot when river water levels are lower. 

The 3D model was made using 4,356 images captured with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 drone; images were processed in CapturingReality; additional processing was completed in Geomagic and Instantmeshes.

Convent Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles de la Hoz

Grant Park parking deck design based on resident input to connect paths and preserves trees. The restaurant resides within the deck facing the new zoo entrance. Balconies with ledges protect from falls.  Overhead shade is provided by two levels of 6' wide solar panels that run the full length of west side. Terraces provide wheelchair access to parking.
