Part of grey and pink granodiorite stela bearing priestly decree concerning Ptolemy V in three blocks of text: Hieroglyphic (14 lines), Demotic (32 lines) and Greek (54 lines). The inscription is a decree passed by a council of priests, one of a series that affirm the royal cult of the 13 year-old Ptolemy V on the first anniversary of his coronation.

The Rosetta Stone

This is a beautiful scan Licenced under CC0 Public Domain that I found [here](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/triceratops-horridus-marsh-e9c507f179ed4455aac3b208c9e6c973) made by The @Smithsonian Institution. 

I spent a couple of days cleaning and rigging the mesh to be able to animate it. I wanted to do a short looping animation by starting and finishing it with the same initial scan position

Marble portrait head of Alexander the Great: the head was cut to fit into a separately made body. The surface is in good condition with only minor abrasions. The back of the head has been worked to receive the remainder of the hair, which was probably made of another material, such as stucco or plaster.

Statue, Neo-Assyrian, Temple of Nabu

I have had to use a lot of artisit licence with this model as high quality photographs are hard to come by.  I do not use schematic diagrams for my models and only use photographs I can find on google images.  With some basic measurements found on wikipedia, I am ususally able to get a close approximation.

Pupation is a stage in the life of an insect where it transforms from larva into an imago. One creature enters the cocoon, and a radically different one emerges from it. Such drastic change in the midst of life. Big risk that comes with being immobilised, slowly dissolved and rematerialised again. How does it feel? Do the memories and experiences of past life remain in the new body? Is the insect after moulting even the same as the one it was before? To me, this dilemma resembles the one of the ship of Theseus: a vessel which after leaving the port has been fixed and modified on its journey, until upon arriving at its destination none of the original parts remained, begging the question, has it remained the same thing or is it something new?

Sperm whale

Low poly modified scan of a replica ***Allosaurus fragilis*** with fixed anatomy. 

The original scan was posed in outdated upright kangaroo pose. It's also a composite skeleton of different individuals. Like many older mounts it had too many caudal verts, making the tail much too long. The position of the shoulders was incorrect and the furcula was missing. The skull was also entirely a sculpture with entirely the wrong shape. So, here, I've fixed all those problems by sculpting the missing furcula, reshaping the skull, separating several bones and sculpting in the missing details in between to make the reposing possible. 

Allosaurus lived during the **Late Jurassic** in the **Morrison formation, USA**.
