3D scan of an original fossilized skeleton of a giant deer (*Megaloceros giganteus*) found in Ireland from the Late Pleistocene (ca. 12,000 years old). The males had a shoulder height of around 2.1 meters and their antlers are the largest known in any deer with a width up to 4 meters. The giant deer disappeared around 11,700 years ago in Europe, like many other animals from the Ice Age.

The skeleton of the giant deer can be found in Hall 16 at the NHM Vienna.

This remarkable golden poison frog (*Phyllobates terribilis*) lives on the ground in humid forests along the Pacific coast of Colombia. They breed by females laying eggs on the ground, in which males transport the larvae to permanent freshwater pools. They are mostly commonly found as mint green and yellow however they can occur as orange. This frog is well known for its densely toxin-coated skin. 

This animal was captured by the Beastcam MACRO from the collection of Michael Wallitis.

In general, Asian elephants are smaller than African elephants and have the highest body point on the head. The tip of their trunk has one finger-like process. Their back is convex or level. Indian elephants reach a shoulder height of between 6.6 and 11.5 ft, weigh between 2,000 to 5,000 kg, and have 19 pairs of ribs. Their skin colour is lighter than that of E. m. maximus with smaller patches of depigmentation, but darker than that of E. m. sumatranus. Females are usually smaller than males and have short or no tusks.

Habitat:
The habitats of Indian elephant are varied, but all are within the tropical region. They can live in grasslands and a variety of forests, including scrub forests, tropical evergreen forests, and deciduous forests. Elephants are herbivores and spend up to 19 hours a day grazing on a variety of plants.

3D scan of a Komodo dragon (*Varanus komodoensis*), the largest lizard species in the world. The males grow up to 3 m long and weigh 70 kg. The Komodo dragon lives on the island of Komodo and the surrounding Indonesian islands in savannahs and dry forests.

This specimen is Number 71 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 28 of the Natural History Museum Vienna.

Komodo Dragon (NHMW-ZOO-HS-23783)

This is a taxidermied specimen of a scarlet tanager (*Piranga olivacea*). They are found in mixed deciduous and evergreen forests of eastern North America. Males are a bright red while females tend to be more of an olive yellow.

Description
The adult spider is black. 

Females have a characteristic red hourglass-shaped spot on the underside of the abdomen and several red spots near the spider webs and on the back. The body length of the female is 8–10 mm. 

Males differ from females in their small size (3–4 mm in length) and elongated abdomen (in females it is round). The legs of males are painted in orange and black stripes, and there are red and white marks on the sides of the abdomen. 

Young spiderlings are white or yellowish-white and darken with each subsequent molt. 

Habitat
Black widows prefer warm regions: Central Asia, Southern Europe, North Africa. 

Habitat: steppes and deserts, ravine slopes, rodent burrows, soil cracks, under rocks and in plant roots. 

Danger to humans
The black widow is not aggressive towards humans and bites them only for self-defense in a desperate situation (for example, if the spider is crushed by hand).

Fan Tail Guppy Male. ‘Fantail’ is an apt description of the colorful Poecilia reticulata. You’ll find it in the most magnificent ranges of bright pale blues to the deepest purples and reds. In addition, males have elaborate caudal fins. They tend to prefer clean, freshwater tanks.

Mosaic Guppy Male. You could find a mosaic and shades of red, violet, orange, blue, and yellow. It has become relatively well known among aquarists, and females are also brightly colored. These guppies are beautiful and peaceful fish. They are great for beginners and come in all different colors. While every guppy is unique, all mosaic guppies have a striking, spotted, and flowy appearance with different shades of color. One of the most popular mosaic guppies is the dragon mosaic guppy.

Platinum Guppy Female, or maybe a shemale, it has the body and dorsal finn of a female but also claspers which only males should have. Well then it is my first Transgender Guppy, or Guppy X lol. The platinum guppy fish frequently has an albino or body with pearlescent scales.
With their striking coloring, these guppies make a beautiful addition to the fish tanks of beginners or seasoned aquarists.

Ochate (en euskera Otxate, es un despoblado español que forma parte del municipio de Condado de Treviño, en la provincia de Burgos, comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Dragon Guppy (Poecilia reticulata) is famous due to its variety of colors; it has shades of:

Both males and females are colorful. Dragon guppies love to eat around the mid and bottom level but love to live at the upper water level. They are called ‘dragons’ because they are fearless and are always eager to jump out of their aquarium.
