Once the home of [Walther](https://goo.gl/79nUeT) and [Wilhelmina von Hallwyl](https://goo.gl/Y8iiJs).

After a formal dinner, the ladies would retire to the small drawing room for drinks and conversation. The room was only used on special occasions; normally the doors would have been closed.

The room is based on a 1760s [Rococo](https://goo.gl/Uymjmm) interior at the manor house Äs, one of several country homes that belonged to the Hallwyl family. In the late 19th century, the style was considered feminine, with its soft, curvaceous forms. It was therefore suitable for a ladies’ drawing room or boudoir. 

In a grand home at the turn of the 20th century, rooms were generally gender separated. Some of the interiors were designed for the ladies, and others for men.

The Small Drawing Room

According to legend the arm of Royal Secretary Olof Sverkersson Elfkarl, in office during the reign of Swedish kings [Johan III](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_III_of_Sweden), [Sigismund](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_III_Vasa) and [Karl IX](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_IX_of_Sweden).

Olof Sverkersson was called Olof Turncoat in many parts of the country and in [Finland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland) (which was a part of [Sweden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden) at that time) they called him Olof Perkelson, i.e. Olof Son of the Devil.

The arm was included in the [Skokloster](https://goo.gl/Mspd5w) collection in the 1750’s when a substantial amount of objects were transferred from Salsta manor, previously owned by the [Bielke](https://goo.gl/F78x9L) family, to Skokloster. The arm had been in the Bielke armoury “since time immemorial”.

Iron Hand - Prosthetic Arm

Boadiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, England. It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion during the Hundred Years' War. Of quadrangular plan, Bodiam Castle has no keep, having its various chambers built around the outer defensive walls and inner courts. Its corners and entrance are marked by towers, and topped by crenellations. Its structure, details and situation in an artificial watery landscape indicate that display was an important aspect of the castle's design as well as defence. It was the home of the Dalyngrigge family and the centre of the manor of Bodiam.

Magical manor

Halikko Church is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Halikko, Finland. The first parts of the church were built in the 13th century, and Halikko Church is one of the 73 medieval stone churches of Finland.

Halikko Church was built in the mid-13th century. Most likely local manor owners the Horn family financed the construction. Therefore, Åminne manor had a right to patronage the priests of Halikko. Halikko Church was first a Roman Catholic church and its protector saint was Saint Bridget.

The Church needed to be expanded and mended in the late-18th century. The first expansion was made in 1799, and the second expansion was made between 1813 and 1815. During the second expansion the church was made cross-shaped. The old sacristy, weapon room and the grave of Horn-family had to be removed that the new parts could be built. At the same time, the whole church was renewed from the inside. An architect Charles Bassi designed the whole operation.

This handmade brick with a paw print was found at Salubria Manor, a ca. 1757 brick structure located in Orange County, Virginia. The brick was recovered from the west chimney which was damaged in 2011 because of an earthquake. It was 3-D scanned 22 January 2026 with a NextEngine Desktop 3-D scanner.

Bio: Pharaoh Hotep was buried in the Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins, where his undead mummy guards the ancient Re-Gou Ruby and wards off anyone who tries to steal it.

In Johnny Thunder and the Lost Ruby, when Johnny Thunder enters the tomb, he is greeted with many traps set up to protect the Pharaoh's Mummy and the ruby. Baron von Barron attempts to steal the ruby, but it disappears and is replaced by the pharaoh, who drags the screaming Baron into the unknown. The Baron is then trapped in the mummy's curse, which consists of the pharaoh cracking off incredibly corny jokes until the Baron goes mad. The sequel comic, An Adventurous Holiday, has the Pharaoh's Mummy continue telling the Baron bad jokes until the villain finally escapes thanks to Johnny returning to the temple. This is followed up in the lore for the Creator Expert set [10273 Haunted Hous], in which Pharaoh Hotep has cursed Manor von Barron for a thousand generations and haunts the Portrait of Samuel von Barron as punishment for stealing the Re-Gou.

Decorative (and idealised) model of Uncovice manor house. The manor house itself was built in the 14th century, and it was reconstructed in rennaissance manner in the 16th century. Today, it serves as an office building for an agricultural cooperative.

I originally created the model using photogrammetry for the "[Můj dům, můj hrad](https://mujdummujhrad.upol.cz/)" project, and then I optimised it (redid it from scratch) for 3D printing in Blender. The model is 1% the original scale.

This model is based on the cover of the album Tubular Bells, the debut album by British musician Mike Oldfield, released on May 25, 1973 by Virgin Records and recorded between 1971 and 1973 at The Manor (England). The record is composed of two long pieces, one on each side of the original vinyl, and incorporates elements of progressive rock, classical music, folk, and experimental music. The cover, designed by Trevor Key, depicts a distorted metallic tubular bell floating against a cloudy sky, with no text in the original edition—an image that has been preserved, with variations, in later reissues.
