Parrots of the Caribbean

This is a 3D scan of the holotype fossil specimen of *Calymene blumenbachii*, the "Dudley Bug", one of the best known species of trilobite. This specimen comes from Dudley from the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation, and lived around 428 million years ago, when the Midlands was covered by warm, shallow, tropical seas. Digitised using an Artec Spider 3D scanner by University of Birmingham Palaeobiology & Palaeoenvironments undergraduate student Luke Meade.

The "Dudley Bug" trilobite

This work was exhibited in the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in 1907. The sculpted Hussar from the Jan Matejko House is identical to the original painted as a panneau by Leon Wyczółkowski. 

Artist Leon Wyczółkowski created a decorative panneau of *Knight among Flowers*, depicting a Hussar sitting on horseback and blowing the horn against the background of a flowery meadow. 

The Hussar on horseback dressed in armour with gilded wings and eagle feathers. The horse is covered with a red-and-gold shabrack (cavalry saddle), decorated with colourful glass imitating precious stones, and fitted with a decorative gold harness.

A farm rabbit—known to enthusiastic meadow naturalists as Lagus hoppius nibblenose—is the quiet sprinter of the homestead. It darts between garden rows with soft thumps, pausing only to evaluate whether a leaf, twig, or bootlace might be edible. Its ears swivel like living antennae, catching every rustle, while its nose twitches in rapid Morse code. At dusk, it becomes a small shadow weaving through tall grass, equal parts shy and mischievous. In the rhythm of farm life, the rabbit adds a touch of gentle chaos and endless charm.

It grazes in slow, cloud‑like clusters, its wool catching sunlight in soft halos. With a calm bleat and an unhurried shuffle, it turns grass into warmth, rhythm, and the occasional escape attempt that feels more accidental than rebellious. Its flocking instinct creates a living, moving landscape, each sheep a quiet note in the farm’s daily harmony. In the cycle of seasons, the sheep offers wool, serenity, and a touch of pastoral magic.

The Quilted Meadow of Dreams

The ACA hurricane 130 Mark one I previously mentioned in my ACA allertor model about it being completely redone. I also redid the Prototype hurricane in every way and didn't start with the old model like I did for this one. The MK0 (prototype) I also put on a pole similar to the DEKALB, IL aca hurricane 130 MK0

I may also redo the Rolling Meadows hurricane 130 model and add a coded soleonid feature.

The horn and everything about the housing was made completely in deisngspark and mixed & fixed in 3d builder.
