A Dark Knight character I created start to finish within 4 weeks. Used some techniques from Vitaly Bulgarov (Mortal Shell) and Danny Sweeney (Total War: Warhammer) to help create this character. I also took inspiration from the game For Honor. Character concept by Jiwoo Lee.

Dark Knight

This is an animation of an adult female **Great Hammerhead Shark** (Sphyrna mokarran) that was reconstructed from multiple cameras arranged around a dive in South Bimini, Bahamas in February 2020.  Casey Sapp coordinated all videography.  Kevin Davidson kindly contributed useful reference photos.

CG artist **Jer Bot** used the software Blender to align these camera views to reconstruct the accurate shape and color of **Nemesis** (PIT tag 900236000107365), which had an estimated length of 329 cm based on laser photogrammetry.  Nemesis commonly frequents dive spots near Bimini and is well-known to divers and scientists from the Bimini shark lab (www.biminisharklab.com).

The **ANGARI Foundation** (www.angari.org) coordinated and supported this research, along with Sean Williams, Ken Morton, Jonathan and Jameson Bayuk, Annabelle Brooks, and Vital Heim.

Model 73A - Great Hammerhead Shark

Hello! I really like the new Mortal Kombat 11. I really like Kitana, but I don’t like the fact that with each new part of Mortal Kombat there are more and more clothes on the female characters. I decided to make Kitana from MK11 in a costume from MK9.

I tried to do it the way the developers from NetherRealm would do it. Used programs 3ds Max, Topogun, Substance Painter, xNormal and GIMP.

This is a photogrammetry of the remains of the Kannonzaki Battery No. 3 in Yokosuka City, Japan.
The site of a gun battery and the brick tunnel remain in Kannonzaki Park.
Two howitzers were installed in the mortar-shaped turret.

I attached a 20mm prime lens and a clip-on flash to a Sony A1 on a tripod and took 650 photos. The photos were taken on a lightly cloudy day, and the tunnel lighting and de-lighting the outside of the tunnel was done using flash light.

Kang Jin Long - Introduction

Kang Jin Long, belonging to the dragon, is Kang. Protected by the big horn, it is one of the twenty-eight constellations in Chinese mythology and the second constellation in the east. It is the god of wind, like a fire bead, located at the neck position in the Canglong constellation, and is the essence of the Canglong, so it is named Kangjinlong. Its appearance and temperament are similar to those of a dragon. It is long, has scales, can fly, and is good at walking. In ancient books, people often see it playing in the water.

In "The Romance of the Gods", its original name is Li Daotong. After being killed in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, it was deified.

In "Journey to the West", it once helped Sun Wukong escape from the golden cymbals.

Black Myth: Wukong - Kang Jin Long [Static]

Author Hans Christian Andersen, known as H.C. in Denmark, has been immortalized next to Copenhagen's City Hall. 
Already in 1936 there was a proposal for a statue of Hans Christian Andersen on the City Hall square. 
In 1937 Utzon-Frank won a competition for a memorial for the poet. 
However, the statue was not finished by the artist's death in 1955, and it was Luckow-Nielsen who has taken over.

This is an feeding animation of a subadult male Manta Ray (“Skye” Mobula c.f. birostris, disk width of 2.5 m) that was reconstructed from a combination of drone, gopro, and other video imagery and morphometric data.  Note the twisting of the cephalic fins, which are used during feeding. Skye was filmed primarily while swimming off the coast of Palm beach, Florida.  Jessica Pate and her team with the Marine Megafauna Foundation (www.marinemegafauna.org) were instrumental for filming Skye and providing access to other data on Manta Rays.  The ANGARI Foundation (www.angari.org) and Angela Rosenberg coordinated and supported this research.  Jonathan Bayuk and Ken Morton kindly donated funding to enable this research.  CG artist Johnson Martin used the data provided to reconstruct and animate the model.

Model 84A - Manta Ray Feeding

Tia Dalma, played by Naomie Harris, is a fictional character from the films Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It is revealed in At World's End that she is the sea goddess Calypso.

Prior to the events of the films, Tia Dalma was known as the goddess Calypso. Davy Jones, a human, fell in love with her. Calypso gave him the task of guiding the spirits of the dead lost at sea, and Jones accepted the task out of love for her. Jones was granted immortality on the condition that he could return to shore only once every ten years. However, when Jones returned to shore after ten years of service, Calypso failed to appear.

Tia Dalma

This is a 3D model of a Neoclassical statuette, which copies an ancient marble statue in the National Archaeological Museum (Naples). It displays a woman (the goddess Aphrodite? a mortal?) partially draped in her robes. This pose and subject is a statue type called the “Aphrodite Kallipygian” (Callipygian Venus). This modern name came from the Greek words *kallos* (beauty) + *pyge* (buttocks). The original Roman work dates from the 1st c. BCE. It was recovered in the 16th c. missing its head.

Arachne was once a mortal weaver of unparalleled skill, but she became prideful and arrogant from all the praise she received for her work. Blaps mortisaga

In the build up to D-Day, American servicemen inscribed their names and home towns on a brick wall of the then mortuary building prior to embarkation from Southampton heading to the beaches of Normandy on June 6th 1944.

The project commemorates the 75th anniversary of D-Day through recording of the wall and  its inscriptions using a range of photographic techniques, as well as research into the surviving names to try to identify individuals and find out more about their stories. The ongoing reserach and database is now available through an interactive viewer.
