The MD Helicopters MD Explorer is a light twin utility helicopter. Designed in the early 1990s by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, it is currently produced by MD Helicopters. There have been two models, the original MD 900, and its successor, the MD 902. The MD-902 is an enhanced version with Category A approval and powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206E or PW207E. Enhanced version has additional engine isolation features and changes to the Integrated Instrument Display System. Older helicopters (except for the first seven built) can be modified to the enhanced version.

Designed for games in lowpoly PBR including Albedo, Metallic, Normal, AO, and Roughness maps.

2 Materials - one for the basket, one for the balloon, all with 4K texture maps. I had to compress the normal maps for Sketchfab so Normals are 2K for the basket, and 3K for the Balloon. 5 Albedo skins for the balloon!

The Chrysler Saratoga is an automobile built by Chrysler. The nameplate was used from 1939 to 1952 and from 1957 to 1960 in the U.S. market, in Canada through 1965, and in Europe from 1989 to 1995. In the beginning, it was introduced as a sport luxury model, using the Straight Eight engine from the Chrysler New Yorker which was more formal, and the Imperial which had graduated to special order limousine.

It was named for Saratoga Springs, New York, and is home to the Saratoga Race Course, a thoroughbred horse racing track.

The Saratoga was introduced one year after the luxurious New Yorker and was well equipped, wearing the Chrysler nameplate. It was initially more expensive than the New Yorker, then marketing changes repositioned the Saratoga more modestly as the Imperial took the top of the Chrysler hierarchy followed by the New Yorker.

*Strix varia*, or the barred owl, can be commonly found in dense forests and wooded swamps in southwestern Canada, Washington, Oregon and northern California. The barred owl is, on average 48-51 cm tall, and has a rounded-head with grey-white facial disc. Where many owls have ear tufts, the barred owl does not.

The small serrations on an owl’s primary feathers creates small vortices reducing noise from wind drag to near zero. The silent flight of owls inspired the biomimetic solution to wind noise caused by the Shinkansen Bullet Train as it travels near 350km/h. These serrations also inspired the redesign of  Ziehl-Abegg, Inc’s fan blades, reducing noise and improving energy efficiency. The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is a large military transport aircraft. It was developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) from the 1980s to the early 1990s by McDonnell Douglas. The C-17 carries forward the name of two previous piston-engined military cargo aircraft, the Douglas C-74 Globemaster and the Douglas C-124 Globemaster II. The C-17 commonly performs tactical and strategic airlift missions, transporting troops and cargo throughout the world; additional roles include medical evacuation and airdrop duties. It was designed to replace the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter, and also fulfill some of the duties of the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy, freeing the C-5 fleet for outsize cargo.
 Aside from the United States, the C-17 is in service with the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, NATO Heavy Airlift Wing, India, and Kuwait. The final C-17 was completed at the Long Beach, California plant and flown on 29 November 2015.

Mounted Loon Skeleton

The common snapping turtle (*Chelydra serpentina*) is a large freshwater turtle of the family Chelydridae. Its natural range extends from southeastern Canada, southwest to the edge of the Rocky Mountains, as far east as Nova Scotia and Florida. This turtle species is noted for its combative disposition when out of the water with its powerful beak-like jaws, and highly mobile head and neck (hence the specific name *serpentina*, meaning "snake-like"). In water, they are likely to flee and hide themselves underwater in sediment.

The specimen is the skull of the pachycephalosaurian dinosaur Stegoceras validum (UALVP 2), collected from the Dinosaur Park Formation of Alberta, Canada, and housed at the University of Alberta. Our team published on this specimen in 2014 in an article by Jason Bourke, Ruger Porter, Ryan Ridgely, Tyler Lyson, Emma Schachner, Phil Bell, and Lawrence Witmer (http://bit.ly/1p5x0Ip). Day 158: Looking glass

Construida en 1778 por mandato del rey Carlos III y diseñada por Francesco Sabatini, la Puerta de Alcalá era una de las cinco puertas reales, o de registro, que daban acceso a la ciudad. Se trata de un emblema patrimonial de la ciudad de Madrid y también del Paisaje de la Luz, bien cultural incluido en la Lista de Patrimonio Mundial desde el 25 de julio de 2021. 

El singular valor de este monumento y su actual estado de conservación han motivado la puesta en marcha de un proyecto de restauración impulsado desde la Dirección General de Patrimonio Cultural del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, entre cuyas medidas figura la creación de un gemelo digital que servirá para obtener un diagnóstico exhaustivo sobre las patologías que afectan al monumento. El modelo en alta resolución, realizado por NovaScan3D, ha servido de base para la realización de esta versión descargable, optimizada por memoriademadrid.

Yes, this was a hell of a scan... it look me 10-15 minutes to walk the entire street. Shootout to @polycam app (@cpheinrich), that handled the capture from the beginning to the end of this 560 ft long scan (170 m.)!
