City Scene

Northumberlandia (the "Lady of the North") is a huge land sculpture in the shape of a reclining female figure, which was completed in 2012, near Cramlington, Northumberland, northern England. Made of 1.5 million tonnes of earth from neighbouring Shotton Surface Mine, it is 34 metres (112 feet) high and 400 metres (1,300 feet) long, set in a 19 hectares (47 acres) public park. Its creators claim that it is the largest land sculpture in female form in the world.[1]

It came out a bit patchy on the water and the shadows could do with being de-lit, but will likely drone scan it in myself one day when in that region to get a better result.

Monte Terminillo is a massif in the Monti Reatini, part of the Abruzzi Apennine range in central Italy. It is located some 20 km from Rieti and 100 km from Rome and has a highest altitude of 2,217 metres (7,274 ft).

It is a typical Apennine massif, both for its morphology, articulated but not exceedingly sharp, and for the fauna and vegetation. Its slopes are separated by the neighbouring smaller massifs by deep valleys, including the Valle Leonina, leading to Leonessa, and the Ravara and Capo Scura valleys leading to that of the Velino River. Raby Castle is a medieval castle located near Staindrop in County Durham, England, among 200 acres (810,000 m2) of deer park. It was built by John Neville, 3rd Baron Neville de Raby, between approximately 1367 and 1390. Cecily Neville, the mother of the Kings Edward IV and Richard III, was born here. After Charles Neville, 6th Earl of Westmorland, led the failed Rising of the North in favour of Mary, Queen of Scots in 1569 Raby Castle was taken into royal custody. Sir Henry Vane the Elder purchased Raby Castle in 1626 and neighbouring Barnard Castle from the Crown, and the Earls of Darlington and Dukes of Cleveland added a Gothic-style entrance hall and octagonal drawing room. Methyl-CpG-binding protein (MBD) is a family of epigenetic gene regulators. This model highlights the main features in chains A, C, and D. The main protein has been highlighted in red, while the short DNA helix has been highlighted in blue. Chain A is the MBD protein domain, while C and D are each strands of complimentary DNA. MBD proteins recognize methylated CpG sites in DNA and regulate transcription by recruiting chromatin-modifying complexes. Interactions occur at the major groove of the DNA and at the DNA backbone. studies found that MBD proteins are less dependent on sequences neighbouring the methylated CpG than previously thought (Liu et al, 2018).

Hut figures are common here at Naquane and in the neighbouring Foppe di Nadro park.  some of these on Rock 35 interestingly incorporate natural scratches (glacial striations) on the rock surface into elements of their design.

The huts, which are a feature typical of the Camunian area, have been interpreted in various ways: initially as images of real structures such as houses, warehouses (grain stores) and temples. 

Some of these contain certain realistic features: a central post, a supporting plinth and a roof with projecting beams.

More recently it has been suggested that they are imaginary places, probably sacred and connected with the afterlife (with cinerary urns from Tuscany & Lazio providing a comparison).   

My own thoughts are that they represent real structures as they occur in village scenes with people and animals around them. The population had to occupy some sort of structures and no other types of dwelling occur on the corpus of engravings in Valcamonica.
