The King’s hall is the most lavish of all the rooms at Skokloster Castle. It is situated in the middle of the Wrangel apartments, between the rooms of the count and those of the countess. In the Wrangel era the room was called ”The Everyday Diningroom”. In the 18th Century, when portraits of kings and queens started filling up the walls, it became known as ”The King’s Hall”.

This is the Picture Gallery located on the top floor of the [Hallwyl Museum](http://hallwylskamuseet.se/en) in Stockholm, Sweden.

Countess Wilhelmina von Hallwyl was a keen collector of Dutch and Flemish artworks of the Golden Age.

 
The diversity of artists and motifs is representative of the Hallwyl House Collection of Dutch and Flemish masters. The collection constitutes a kind of encyclopedia of the [Golden Age of Dutch Art](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Golden_Age_painting).

"See For Yourself" was the catchphrase of the Golden Age.

This is an attempt at squeezing the entirety of [1st Floor State Rooms The Hallwyl Museum](https://sketchfab.com/TheHallwylMuseum/collections/the-hallwyl-museum-1st-floor-state-rooms) into a single model, ready for viewing in webVR. The original models were decimeted and textures rebaked using the open source 3D editor [Blender](http://blender.org).

The original models were created by [Erik Lernestål](https://www.eriklernestal.com/index) for the musuem and are reused under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

The Hallwyl Museum 1st Floor Combined

This helmet, with its rather special appearance, is one of the few preserved objects that we know was owned by the Swedish king [Gustav Vasa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_I_of_Sweden). 

It was made in Germany in 1540, probably in Augsburg or Nuremberg, which were home to some of the most skilled armour makers of the time. The visor, the part that covers the face, did not originally belong to the helmet, but it is thought to be of the same period.

A helmet of this type was made not for battle but for celebratory occasions. In the 16th century, full suits of steel armour were the height of fashion. For parades and other royal festivities, the social elite would dress up in specially-made sets of costume armour with a close helmet. During these celebrations it became popular, in the early 16th century, to wear close helmets with grotesque visors in the form of animal or human faces, like this one, to enhance the festive atmosphere and heighten the sense of theatricality.

Whew! Just finished CGmaster's car tutorial for Blender, what an awesome course. If you want to improve at hard surface, I highly recommend it. Because not every car is available on Sketchfab for free! https://cgmasters.net/training-courses/master-car-creation-in-blender/  Sorry I'm sounding like an ad but honestly it's worth it. Rigged with the free Rigacar addon. If you plan to animate this, then be sure to check out their documentation on Youtube.

This car will feature as part of an upcoming BIG animation, so more to come. I'm planning on posting project files here so give me a follow if you're inclined. I'll continue to post free models as long as it remains fun :)

Corvette Stingray

A shaderless model of the lead character in Hollow Knight Silksong :Hornet the daughter of the Pale King and Herrah the Beast, the queen of Deepnest. I gave myself some liberties with the butty, ITS FANON TIME!


I did an update on the model, fixing some things with the rig and adding the silk line and a shadow plane, now im done with it and its more managable to set the needle pose as well since its now parented to the rig.

Issum, The town on Capital Isle

This is a 3D model ("Mary") of an adult (curved carapace length 940 mm) female flatback sea turtle (Natator depressus, PIT tag 900119000520197, captured 11/21/17, Thevenard Island, Western Australia) as part of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions' North West Shelf Flatback Turtle Conservation Program (DBCA-NWSFTCP) with Scott Whiting (DBCA), Sabrina Fossette (DBCA) and Adrian Gleiss (Murdoch University). The turtle was photographed on a nesting beach using the Beastcam system and released in good condition. The 3D model was created through a photogrammetry scan using COLMAP and Autodesk REMAKE. Animator Jer Bot used Blender to reconstruct the sea turtle. Credit should be given to the Digital Life project and NWSFTCP: “The author(s) acknowledge the Digital Life project and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions’ North West Shelf Flatback Turtle Conservation Program for creation of the 3D flatback turtle model”.

So taking me quite some hours I can proudly present my Phase I Clone Trooper as seen in Star Wars Ep. 2 Attack of the Clones and in a more stylised version in Star Wars the Clone Wars.

It is propably much more high poly than it needed but I like it and I honestly don't want to retopologize it atm.

As human base I used and heavily modified the [human base mesh from angelaxiotis](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/free-base-mesh-e4049b5274904bf5ab91001b2bc25eae) and it really isn't good at all and maybe you could get problems rigging it because I went a bit to hard with "automated retopology" in Blender but well, I wanted it to look good and it does. Maybe I will one day come back and change it because I want to rig it, but idk yet.

Lola bunny Fan art

Zalipie, a village in southern Poland, is most famous for its folk art. Local artists have been covering houses in traditional floral motifs, a custom with roots back in the 18th century, when housekeepers would lighten sooty interiors of their huts by covering them with limewash. Through the 19th century the practice evolved into a habit of decorating cottages - both on the inside and on the outside - with colorful painted ornaments. The tradition has been kept up in the 20th century by dedicated artists like Felicja Curyłowa (1904-1974) and - thanks to her and her followers - to this day we can admire unique local art, and house painting contests are still held to support this live tradition. The 3D model was created based on one of the oldest, finest examples of a Zalipie painted house.

Really quick fanart on Hollow Knight game.
Admire the atmosphere of Hallownest very much. And one of my favourite action in the game - sitting on a bench and updating the map

Small diorama scene made for a school assignment. The theme I chose was "Forest Loner", and I thought it would be interesting to create a house that looked like it was made by hand from local materials. 

I've always been curious about tileable textures, and decided to try my hand at creating a few to be used in the scene. I created a wood and metal trim texture which was used in the texturing of the shed, the house, the water tower and the electrical poles. I also made a texture sheet for the metal roofing and used it to also texture the small electrical conductors on the electrical poles. 

Overall, it was a pretty fun project to work on and I definitely learnt a lot from it.
