For the past several months, I have been doing research, Finding old HM concept art, discovering long lost lore, and eventually modeling the results to create a new Haunted Mansion dedicated to the Imagineers who brought it to life. Unlike many of the other components of the project, this is not based on an old concept, but is in fact my own addition.  This greenhouse, long abandoned, will be the centerpiece of the mansion's backyard. In it, you can find a variety of flora, from small parasitic buds like the hydnora to larger specimens such as the magnificent corpse flower. The top of the greenhouse is designed to match the conservatory built into MK's Haunted Mansion.

This is my first attempt at using generative flora in Blender, using the built in IvyGen add-on. I originally wanted to use the BagPie Ivy generator which produced a much more filled result and looked amazing, but the result was a 12 million polygon 3.2GB monstrosity so IvyGen appears to be much better for uploading to sketchfab. Enjoy!

Haunted Mansion Project: The Greenhouse

The model was made for the ETW mod Imperial Splendour. It serves as a city model for the town of Hannover.
In the model itself are many historical buildings which once were located (and are demolished today) in Hannover as well as several drafts which were never built. 

I tried to represent the division between the old town, coming from the middle ages on the right with timber-frame and Renaissance houses and the new town ("Calenberger Neustadt") on the left which was built in the 17th century and where the townhouses of the nobility stood.

Most prominent on the right is the Marktkirche (Market Church). Outside the actual town you can see the Nikolaikapelle (Nikolai chapel) with its graveyard. Today the Nikolaikapelle is a ruin.

The actual building was comanded to build by Jacques d'Amboise, abbot of Cluny, in1485. The chapel was restored recently, in 2015. [Here you can see a 360º with its state before the restoration.](https://goo.gl/R7eafP)

The ruined remains of two riverside sunhouses on the Dollis Brook (just north of the bridge of Brent Street) in Hendon, London.

They were once part of the Brent Bridge Hotel which no longer exists.

One of my favorite places in Baltimore! It was designed by George A. Frederick (1842–1924) and is located in Druid Hill Park. 

"Established in 1888 as the Druid Hill Conservatory, the Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory has grown from the original Palm House and Orchid Room to include three greenhouses, two display pavilions and outdoor gardens...The Conservatory is the second-oldest steel framed-and-glass building still in use in the United States."

A temporary memorial (where members of the public have placed flowers) to Elizabeth II at the site of her birth on Bruton Street, London.

The plaque reads: "At this site at 17 Bruton Street stood the townhouse of the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne where Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, later to become Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, was born on 21 April 1926."
