The Lotus 49 was a Formula One racing car designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 F1 season. It was designed around the Cosworth DFV engine that would power most of the Formula One grid through the 1970s. It was one of the first F1 cars to use a stressed member engine combined with a monocoque to reduce weight, with other teams adopting the concept after its success. It also pioneered the use of aerofoils to generate downforce.

The Hygieia Fountain is a lead-cast statue fountain created by Johann Martin Fischer and erected in 1787 at public expense. It stands in the forecourt of the Josephinum (9th District, Währinger Straße 25).

The depiction of the goddess Hygieia—symbol of health—directly reflects the function of the building behind it, constructed between 1783 and 1785 as a training institution for physicians and military doctors and today housing, among other facilities, the Institute and Museum for the History of Medicine.

The central figure is a calm, classically inspired female statue dressed in antique-style drapery, standing on a high pedestal. In her left hand she holds a bowl from which a snake drinks, while another snake coils around her right arm—traditional attributes of Hygieia. The pedestal and octagonal basin are made of stone, while the basin railing and water spouts, designed as Medusa heads, are crafted from metal.

The Red‑Gold Dragon, *Draconis aurumflamma*, is said to have first appeared in the mountain courts of early Zhou‑era mystics, who described it as a creature woven from storm‑light and molten ore. Legends claim emperors sought its favor not for war, but for wisdom: the dragon’s spiraling body was believed to map celestial currents, allowing scholars to predict seasonal shifts and political tides.

Modern folklorists were stunned when a 19th‑century naturalist proposed a semi‑scientific classification, arguing that its serpentine anatomy resembled an evolutionary offshoot of ancient river reptiles. Though unproven, the idea gave the Red‑Gold Dragon a curious place in proto‑mythological biology.

Its most unexpected purpose, however, lies in ritual craftsmanship. Artisans once invoked the dragon not as a guardian but as a muse for precision, believing its coils taught the perfect balance between tension and grace, a philosophy still echoed in calligraphy and martial arts today.

ERYX CRG Scrambler [Spacecraft Concept]

Located about 15m south of Cemmo 1, this boulder has an engraved northern face.  The surface has flaked in a few places, with a loss of engravings along the right edge and central part.  Two triangular gaps at the bottom divide the rock into three portions.

The figures include animals (ibex, fawns and canids, including packs of wolves and a dog, depicted with its tail up), weapons (an axe, a halberd and several daggers), human figures, a ploughing scene and a cart.  

No superimposition of decorations has been observed on Cemmo 2, and the engravings, made with a small, are homogeneous.

The two most interesting figures are engraved on the western portion: a cart with four, disc-shaped wheels and a plough.  Both of these are pulled by pairs of oxen with long, curved horns.  The Copper Age ploughs engraved on boulders are of the 'ard' variety, well adapted to mountain soils.  

The uniform style of the entire engraved surface may be dated to 2900-2500 BC by the presence of Remedello-type daggers.

Valcamonica, Massi di Cemmo - Boulder 2

This model has been taken from the Lady of Elche. The Lady of Elche is one of the most representative sculptures of ancient Iberian art. It was discovered in 1897 at the archaeological site of La Alcudia, near the city of Elche. It is a female bust carved in limestone, dated to around the 4th century BC, notable for its detailed headdress that frames the face with large lateral coils. The figure also wears complex necklaces and ornaments that reflect the high artistic level of Iberian culture. Strade Dominican Friary is a National Monument in state ownership (No. 172). The abbey dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross & was a daughter house of Sligo Dominican priory (SL014-068008-). One of a group of 5 graveslabs on display against the south wall of the chancel of the Dominican friary church. This tapered slab served as the lid of a stone coffin. It bears a floriated cross in low relief, the terminals of the cross appear to form trefoils/bud & leaf or flower & leaf motif, a fleur-de-lis/flower of the lily. Adventure Preparation

This event came on a short notice with short timeframe. In addition, i only read the date and not the time. Had just added a wash to deepen and drag the shadows together so that it might dry over night for me to give it another coat of paint during the day - when i read, window closes at 2.00 during the night. Too late to finish it for a proper entry. A bit of hairdrying and some poor mobile-pics just to show what i was working on. Just not enough time for my way of creating&painting. Usually have the oils dry for a day or 2 between layers. Anyways...

3D Print of WIP

Located in Strade Dominican friary (MA070-067001-), one of a group of five (see also MA070-067007- to MA070-067010-) no upright where they are mounted up against the south wall of the chancel of the friary church. Tapered graveslab (L 1.9m) of 13th/14th-century date with chamfered sides, served as the lid of a stone coffin. Grave-cover decorated with a cross-fleury or floriated cross with stylised leaf-like terminals or bud-and-leaf terminals.  Possible foliage/leaf/fruit/disc motifs springing from the shaft of the cross symbolising the tree of life.  A cross fleury is a cross adorned at the ends with flowers in heraldry. It generally contains the fleur-de-lis, trefoils, etc.  The Tree of Life represents God's gift of eternal life appearing first in Genesis 2:9 as a source of immortality in Eden & in Revelation 22.2 as a part of the new garden of paradise.
