Monkey D Luffy Damage - One Piece

"From death comes life" were the final words of this katana's wielder. This katana was used to put an end to unneeded violence and making the world a more peaceful place. But in the end, before the wielders dream was realized, he also fell victim to this unneeded violence.


The katana is infused with a cherry blossom, which stands for a time of renewal.


I made this katana initially because I was watching Demon slayer and got inspired to make my own katana, after starting this project I dropped it pretty soon. But after I started watching One Piece, I felt motivated again and finished this project with a lot more than I initially planned. I first only cared to make the katana but later I found I wanted to make the Saya (cover) and the katana stand as well.


This model is not intended for a game, but could be used in one. If you want to use it in a game, I would recommend baking the Tsuka wrap onto the Tsuka handle (The Tsuka wrap is 25k poly's). This would make the performance a lot better.

He is a cheerful, optimistic, and good-hearted captain who is willing to risk his life to protect his crew and become King of the Pirates. Luffy is also ambitious and has a big appetite, sometimes thinking with his stomach and eating a lot. He is not as dimwitted as some think, and often shows more understanding than others expect.

This is my version of hard surface modeling, NO UV mapping for the details. every hull plate, greeble, vent, scratch and dent are meticulously meshed to the surface. and i mean *into* the surface! this whole complicated thing is ONE SHELL. A hermetically sealed one piece 3d printable STL model. Normally this leads to stupidly high poly counts, how ever i managed to keep the thing down to a 12 meg, 251,968 polygon STL file.

This is a pretty darned accurate rendition of the CGI ship as seen in the movie, small liberties were taken in the name of the low poly Gods. the movie model obviously using huge UVs and surface detailing maps.

I made this thing as a public domain project, so unless the movie owners eventual try and copyright the design, not easy as the design is quite closely based on the 50 year old French comic series. she should be free for use.

Modelled and completely hand-painted in blender. yes.. I modelled all scales indivudually.. I made this free so If you want to use this in something give me some credit. This is a character from the roblox game "Deepwoken" for clarity.

Grimoire - Morphose

The Vange Well (No.5) or Cash's Well is a ruined temple like structure located in the woods about 300 meters east of the Langdon Hills Country Park car park on One Tree Hill, near Basildon, Essex.

The well was constructed in the 1920s by Edwin Cash.

For this project, I made a ladybug in celebration of Spring and warmer weather. I got this idea after scrolling through some images for inspiration. When I came across a photo of a little ladybug on a dandelion holding onto the last seed, I had to make it. For the sculpt, I kept it fairly simple. I wanted the base to look like a dandelion that had all the seeds blown off, except one. The ladybug will be standing on its back four legs, while holding the last seed with its front two. Once I got everything modeled out, I went back to pose the scene before making it all one piece for printing. I ended up printing the base separate from the ladybug with the seed. From here, it was just a matter of getting everything painted. Using the airbrush for the red shell left a very smooth and even coat. For the spots, I used a pencil to draw them on first as a guide. One thing I had to figure out, though, was how to make the white tufts on the dandelion seed. As a side note, the white tufts are called the pappus. The entire dandelion would be covered in pappi, for the plural. I had to look this up, and I thought it was kind of interesting. As for the sculpt, I modeled the tall stem of the seed, and slightly enlarged the top. I had the idea to use paintbrush bristles for the pappus instead of trying to model and print it. Of course, I couldn't find any paintbrushes with long enough white bristles, so I made do by painting what I had. Using clear resin and UV light, I attached each bristle individually until the pappus was formed. This is such a fun little project, and I really enjoy how the model looks on display. I am more than happy to present to you Omega type jacht that I did some time ago.
This type of jacht was developed by Juliusz Sieradzki in 1942. Is still very popular, especially for regattas or traveling purposes (yeah you can make a tent with the horisontal part of the mast spar afaik).
The model that you can see is not perfect copy of Omega that you might seen on the lake one day, but it keeps most important aspects of it.
By this I mean that:
- lenght, width, height,
- general shape of boat,
- areas of sails,
- dimensions of mast,
- shape of drop keel,
are as on Omega.
And yes, its free, just put me in credits in your awesome work!
The model is separated in parts, for texturing purposes. For best use, I recommend to just attach textures in blender, (names will allow for automatic Principled BSDF setup), and after this just join model to one piece.
