A brilliant crystal glass decanter found at a garage sale, and hand modeled in blender. Great care was taken to ensure absolute accuracy to it's real world counterpart, from it's external dimensions, to it's internal curvature. The base of the carafe contains an air bubble that plays with light, shadow caustics, and chromatic abberations for spectacular optics simulation; ray tracing, and advanced glass shaders are reccomended for artwork featuring this model. The stopper is a separate object, as is the shot glass. Although the real world decanter is antique, and likely costs a pretty penny now, this accurate digital recreation of it is absolutely free.

The starting point was a documentary about the writer's life, which described his small room in New York. That's exactly what I've depicted here, only in the prism of HPL optics)

A hightech nightvision system for my game asset production course. The theme were optics so eveything from scopes to cameras was allowed.
Despite my last name I am not a huge gun nut. Luckily my brother is and he suggested me severall scopes nightvision and general military equipment. This one seemed most intresting to model.

Was fun modeling and textureing. Top parts were a bit of a pain though but the whole piece turned out great.
