Zombie

A plastered human skull; the skull was taken as the base and the features of the face were modelled on it in plaster. One eye is made from a bivalve shell divided in two. The other has one, smaller, complete shell in place and is missing its twin.

Hintze Hall, NHM London [surface model]

Based on a scan of a replica of the "Mayflower" ship, processed by @spogna and available [here](https://skfb.ly/6u8T6).

Like in the [Mosquito in Amber](https://skfb.ly/6xWCO), most of my attention was spent on normal maps, roughness and refraction settings to try to make this model as realistic as possible.

I actually had to create a secondary internal surface for the bottle, and also relied on clear coat options for the glass material in order to try to give the model a feeling of thickness. 

To try to get the opacity right, I used refraction on the outer layer (normals offset checked), and alpha-blending on the inner one.

All of the modeling was done with Blender, but the critical part for the model aesthetics relies on Sketchfab materials and post-processing.

The noses are still bothering me, and I fear I'll have to include a manual step in my scripted workflow to keep more geometry on the face than on the body.

1500 triangles models, 1024px albedo and normal maps. The model materials are from front to back: 

1. albedo + normal map
2. normal map only
3. smoothed normals (no albedo, no normal map)
4. flat shaded

The cross vaults were a bit tricky to model but nothing compared to the texture baking (all the crashes while rendering drove me nut!!).

20th Century Fox (2009) (75th Anniversary; 2010)

This is a project I have been working on for the last few months. I tried many new techniques and I feel like it tops my last model by a lot. I have decided to give this model away for free so everyone can enjoy it. 

**Do Not Download this Via Sketchfabs downloader, download the zip file through this google drive link to get the blend file and textures** https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q9Zz8getrYY5AA1f8k72rapH2kCTXKD6/view?usp=sharing  for some reason sketchfab doesnt allow you to add an external zip file to a free model, only to paid models. So this is a little work around.

The model was created in Blender 2.93 and the interior was textured in substance painter. The interior can be changed into 4 different colors. Tan (what it is currently), Black, Blue, and Brown. The entire model is around 1.62 million polygons. If you like the quality of this model, feel free to support me by purchasing my other car models!

Here is a modiffication of Alexander Lee's female rig I made with blender, solving some rig issues and making a male model. Usefull as posable reference manequin or other pourposes.
