Anthropomorphic mold for the manufacture of clay figurines, with the image of a woman sitting on her heels and knees. She wears a dress or huipil with long sleeves and a wide collar, which leaves part of the shoulders exposed. A spectacular detail is her hairstyle with a line in the middle and her hair braided on top the head with ribbons, tassels, and pompons. One hand holds her stomach and the other rests on her lap holding a round fan with a decorated edge, probably with feathers. Mold with the image of a Woman

Polychrome drum of the type known as Pax, classified as an “arm drum.” The surface is decorated with ten figures identified as musicians and dancers.  Within the latter group, a principal dancing figure is depicted performing with two sticks tipped with pompons, wearing a knotted maxtatl and a feathered headdress. Behind him, three seated figures appear to observe him with open mouths, as if singing; one of them holds a turtle shell. In front of the dancer, a procession of three figures advances toward him, wearing textile headdresses and jaguar-skin skirts, and carrying what appear to be rattles in their hands. Probably from the Alta and Baja Verapaz region. The piece has been restored.

Anthropomorphic whistle representing a seated woman with long hair, which she styles into a braid that appears to be wrapped with a ribbon extending over her legs. She wears ear ornaments and a beaded necklace. Although her bust is exposed, she is covered by a mantle whose edge is decorated in a net-like pattern with interlaced fringes. From Alta Verapaz region of the Guatemalan Highlands.

Whistle figurine

Hollow figurine representing a standing man playing a cylindrical drum positioned in front of him. The facial features, twisted mouth to one side and prominent cheekbones, suggest that the figure may represent an elderly man. He wears a brimmed hat, a flower-shaped ear ornament, and a cord necklace with a drum. The left ear ornament is missing due to breakage. Provenance indicated in the Cultural Property Registry record: Chamá, Alta Verapaz.

Tripod plomizo jar with a composite silhouette and a slightly curved, divergent neck. The body is decorated with parallel horizontal grooves interspersed with vertical series. The supports are oval in form and feature openings with rattle elements. The Cultural Property Registry record catalogs the artifact as from Baja Verapaz and dates it to the Classic period.

Cruceiro dos Santos, en Cheis. Atópase no camiño real que vai de Bamiro para Tines, onde se cruza coa ruta en dirección a Pazos, a aldea de procedencia do doante, probablemente no século XVII. Dun lado está o Cristo, que olla para o leste, e na cara oeste hai unha Trinidade: Pai, Fillo e Espírito Santo. Na parte inferior agrúpanse un conxunto de figuras arredor da cruz.

Cruceiro dos Santos in Cheis, Vimianzo (A Coruña). It is in the way from Bamiro to Tines, in the place that crosses the route to Pazos, the benefactor village, probably in XVIIth century. On one side ther is a Christ, looking East, and on the west side there is a Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. On the lower part there is a group of figures arround the cross.

Cruceiro dos Santos en Cheis, Vimianzo

Chablekal tetrapod bowl with divergent walls, a convex base, basal molding, and spherical supports. The exterior wall is decorated with two panels, each featuring an incised spider monkey (Ateles geoffroyi) seated in right profile, with the tail coiled yet extended backward and the arms positioned forward with the hands in front. The surrounding field is filled with parallel incised lines oriented in different directions. Provenance: the Verapaz region.

No interior Igreja de Santa Maria de Açores, conserva-se uma inscrição de época visigótica. Trata-se de uma lápide funerária dedicada a Suinthiliuba, que faleceu a Nonas de Novembro da Era de 704, ou seja a 5 de Novembro do ano de 666.

A lápide, de granito, mede 47,5 cm de altura e 86 cm de largura, é referenciada pela primeira vez em 1632, por Fr. António Brandão na Parte IV da Monarquia Lusitana, como evidência da antiguidade da Igreja de Santa Maria de Açores como importante centro de peregrinação regional em época medieval e moderna.

Anthropomorphic mold to manufacture figurines, with the negative image of a male character slightly kneeling on his left knee and with his right foot resting on the ground. He holds his right hand in front of his chest in a gesture, with the fingers facing up. With his left hand he holds a conch shell over his shoulder, as if listening to a conch shell or perhaps holding a conch trumpet. The hair is tied up with ribbons and fabric, with a headband decorated with a series of vertical plates above the forehead.  He wears a hip cloth with a knotted belt, hanging earflares with what appear to be animal fangs, wristlets, decorated sandals, and a beaded necklace with a rectangular breastplate. Probably from the Cobán area in Alta Verapaz

He wears a cloth cap-like headdress, round earspools, a necklace with a cylindrical pectoral (painted white), and a red maxtlatl loincloth. The face is painted red and the body yellow.
