It's been a while! Here is a model based off the anicent apex predator of the sea, the Pliosaur. It was inspired by the recent discovery of a six foot long pliosaur skull found in the Dorset Cliffs. 

During a documentary with David Attenborough, the Pliosaur's movement is described as being closest to that of a penguins, so I thought I would try and push that motif a bit more.

This is another cool skeleton from our research collection, digitized via laser scanning and assembled in ZBrush. This specimen was donated from a local zoo.

Scanned with a Nikon XT H 225ST micro CT scanner. The resulting file is exported as an stl. and imported in to Zbrush. Texture is added from photographs using the Spotlight function and Polypainting.
