Here's my first attempt at submitting a file to MyMiniFactory. I'm currently working on a line of Greek Heros based on famous Philosophers, Mathmaticians, and Scientists for my Insect Themed Greek Gladiator Campaign.I got a little carried away with them and figured I'd throw in a joke character of Pythagoras to reflect how "useless" the pythagorean theorem is in the real world.Stay tuned for the heroric rest of the set coming soon!32mm Scale.

Zeno, Paradox Warden is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.Zeno of Elea (c. 490–430 BCE) was a pre‑Socratic Greek philosopher and student of Parmenides, known for a set of paradoxes designed to defend Parmenides’ monist view that reality is a single, unchanging, indivisible whole. These paradoxes aim to show that concepts like plurality (many things) and motion lead to logical contradictions.That's why I've reimagined him as a paradox himself, splitting into many forms. Zeno, Paradox Warden

Artistotle, Philosopher General is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Aristotle (384–322 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher and polymath. His writings span the natural sciences, philosophy, linguistics, economics, politics, psychology, and the arts. As the founder of the Peripatetic school of philosophy in the Lyceum in Athens, he began the wider Aristotelian tradition that followed, which set the groundwork for the development of modern science. To match this I've reimagined him as a Philosopher General weilding a flaming spear and carrying strategic plans. Stay tuned for more Greek Philosopher Heros and follow to see what comes next! Archimedes, Engineer Sage is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Archimedes of Syracuse, born around 287 BCE, was a brilliant mathematician, physicist, engineer, and inventor whose groundbreaking work in mathematics and physics, including the principles of buoyancy, the law of the lever, and innovations like the Archimedes screw and war machines, influenced later scientific thought and practical engineering, leaving a lasting legacy in both theoretical and applied sciences. That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric mechanical inventor bridging technology and greek mythos. Archimedes, Engineer Sage

Heraclitus, Flame of Change is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Heraclitus of Ephesus 535–475 BCE famously associated fire with the ever-changing nature of reality, viewing it as a metaphor for transformation and flux. He considered fire to embody the constant process of becoming, continuously consuming and reshaping matter, much like how the universe itself is in perpetual motion. Through this symbolism, fire represents both destruction and creation, illustrating Heraclitus’s belief that change and transformation are fundamental to the cosmos. That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric weilder of the flame of change, standing victoriously over a fallen insect gladiator (follow to see my insect characters drop). Heraclitus, Flame of Change

Plato, Celestial Mage is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.   Plato (c. 427–347 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher, student of Socrates, and teacher of Aristotle, who founded the Academy in Athens, one of the earliest centers of higher learning in the Western world. While he is credited for many discoveries his most famous is his theory that the world was a sphere but also the center of the universe. That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric arcane mage with a giant telescope like staff.   I've also been working on Greek and Roman Gladiator themed insects that I'll be posting soon so comment if you want to see that!   32mm Scale - Let me know what you think! 

Plato, Celestial Mage

Parmenides, Master of Aletheia & Doxa is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.  Parmenides (c. 515–450 BCE), a pre-Socratic philosopher from Elea, emphasized that true reality is eternal and indivisible. In his poem On Nature, he distinguishes the Way of Truth (Aletheia), representing unchanging being, from the Way of Opinion (Doxa), the illusory, ever-changing world perceived by the senses. He argued that genuine knowledge comes from reason, not sensory experience, and his ideas significantly influenced later philosophy, including Plato’s theory of Forms.   That's why I've reimagined him as a two sided character representing the light Aletheia side on the front and the darker Doxa side on the back. Parmenides, Master of Aletheia & Doxa

Diogenes The Lantern is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Diogenes of Sinope, the Greek Cynic philosopher, famously carried a lantern in broad daylight through the streets of Athens, symbolizing his relentless search for an honest man. This act highlighted his critique of society’s moral corruption and his commitment to virtue and simplicity, using the lantern as a vivid emblem of his quest to illuminate truth and integrity amidst widespread hypocrisy. Diogenes The Lantern

Empedocles, Elemental Arbiter is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Empedocles theorized that all matter is composed of four fundamental and eternal elements—earth, air, fire, and water—whose combinations and separations, driven by Love and Strife, govern the cycles of nature. Love unites these elements, creating harmony and life, while Strife separates them, causing change and decay. Through this framework, Empedocles explained physical, biological, and cosmic phenomena, establishing a foundational understanding of matter that influenced later thinkers in philosophy and science. That's why I've reimagined him as an arcane master of the four elements, engulfing and using the elements to his advantage. Empedocles, Elemental Arbiter

Epicurus, Tranquil Defender is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Epicurus (341–270 BCE) was born on the island of Samos, Greece. He studied philosophy in Athens and later founded his own school, The Garden, in 307 BCE, which welcomed men and women alike—an uncommon practice at the time. He emphasized ethics, rational thought, and the pursuit of a tranquil life as a means to achieve happiness. That's why I've reimagined him as a tranquil hero, still adorned in armor but peacefully sitting on a marble thrown ina peaceful garden. Epicurus, Tranquil Defender

Socrates, Discoverer of Salt is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Socrates (c. 470–399 BCE) lived his entire life in Athens, during a period of political turbulence and cultural brilliance. Born to a stonemason and a midwife, he served as a hoplite in the Peloponnesian War and became known in the city for engaging anyone—politicians, craftsmen, poets—in probing conversations about virtue, justice, and the good life. History He left no writings, making him one of history’s most enigmatic thinkers. The “Socratic problem” refers to the difficulty of separating the historical Socrates from the literary character in Plato’s dialogues Given his great mind and combat experience I decided to do something uneque for him and imagine him as a salt weilding champion of the arena standing victoriously over a fallen snail gladiator having discovered the perfect weapon to defeat them (follow to see my insect/bug characters drop). Socrates, Discoverer of Salt

Claudius Ptolemy, Constellation Summoner is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Claudius Ptolemy was a 2nd‑century Alexandrian astronomer, mathematician, and geographer whose geocentric model and works like the Almagest and Geography shaped scientific thought for over a millennium. His influence dominated astronomy until the Copernican revolution and guided mapmaking well into the Age of Exploration That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric summoner of constellations alongside two of his best known constelations Orion the Hunter and Pegasus. David, Marble Sentry

Michaelangelo, Sentry Carver is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.I know Michaelangelo, isn't technically a greek philosopher but based on his contributions to ancient art and sculptures it was too cool to not include in this series. Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475–1564) was a revolutionary Italian artist whose mastery in sculpture, painting, poetry, and architecture defined the High Renaissance and influenced Western art for centuries. That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric carver of living mobile sentries and stone golems.
